Forget taking the tackles - somebody take Tim Lane and drop him into Bass Strait.

His barracking is driving me nuts!
He is a genuine muppet.
I though the commentators were supposed to barrack for the underdogs. Arent we the underdogs this week

Holy crap! 66 tackles to half time. Well on track to crack the ton. Don't think that's ever been done. Not sure, but I remember us having 80 odd earlier in the year and a commentator saying that it was the highest count since that stat had been measured. GO you mighty Sainters.

This is, dare I say it Saintsational, if we are 5 goals plus up at 3/4 time, game over.
We are under no pressure re the win, Hawthorn have to win and are under so much pressure and as I said before, their mental state must be almost shattered.
Meanwhile the rest of the comp must be asking themselves, "how in the hell do you beat this team?"

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Haha, I'm lovin this so much.

Seeing my man Armo rip it up. Jack doing well in his first, with an awesome goal. Macca absolutely killing it, if only he could kick striaght! Geary been around it, McQ not bad. Chuck in Schneider as well! They're all less than 23 I think, thats our future right there boys.

Zac and Max doing well, although they haven't had too worry about much have they?

Just need Kosi to switch on and we should cruise to a win here.

Keep up the pressure boys.

A little more presentation from guys up forward would help a lot in the third quarter if we get the ball in our hands, with the wind at our back.

Where's Kosi?

Our kicking for goal needs to improve as well - making the most of our chances will help to no end with these wind conditions.

This is the stat I like:

Saints 105 kicks, 54 hb.
Hawks 69 kicks, 110 hb.

Love the opposition to keep handballing - suits our tackling.

In 2012, I'm still on the bus.

most tackles this year is 111 by north, when they played the hawks.
maybe the hawks are just a really tackle-able team? haha

Yeh TQ you make some valid points. This could well be what the conditions are like on a cold windy day at the G' in September! Some of the goal-kicking thus far has been disrespecting the trademark.

Fair call from what I've heard from MMM.

As long as the boys keep up the tackling pressure the umpires wont make a difference to the outcome.

It would be nice to hear Kosi crash a few packs. I dont expect a strong marhing game given the conditions but keeping the TipRat, Sneiderman, Mini and Armo fed will provide a winning option in thenext half.

McEvoy, you have got my attention. Great effort.

Go guys, Pressure on.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Whatever the result today I am amazingly proud of the boys and the effort and pressure. Given the outs this is amazing.
