Harvey's Disciple is the man to chat to, and he's waiting for a little while. But there is genuine interest.

All the Storm bandwaggoners will be too busy watching Jarryd Hayne rip them a new one

15th no can do, 22nd depends entirely on exam scheduling. 29th is perfect for me personally - but I'm only one person and it will be getting fairly warm by then.

For the record, October 11, November 1, November 15 & December 6 would be the Sundays I would be unavailable for.

All these days are related to my upcoming marriage.

The Dees are playing the Blues on November 8.

Both cluvs have suggested a round robin on that day, for example we play 2 15 minute halves against each of them.

If people think that sounds good, then we can give that a go, but if people want a full game against one side, and that date doesn't suit (As I know their are exams) then we could go after November 15 or 22 against the dees. Or even the pies then the dees early december.

Let me know what you think.

Interesting about the round robin doesn't sound like a bad idea except the team that gets to sit out for the first game would be quite fresh against a team thats already played you'd think unless there is a 4th team... I should be right for November 8th.

sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, hd...

we dees are not committed to playing the blues on November 8...

we are both committed to asking you guys to play a round-robin on that day...

dunno, mighty sainters, where the advantage lies...

if you've just played 2 x 15 minute quarters against one team, that's not alot of footy, and your team has had time to work out the capabilities of the team members, positions etc, you will be used to the conditions and the ground...

certainly, the team that sits out the second game will have an advantage in the final game...

parko i can have a chat to the pies and see if they are interested in a round-robin or even as you said maybe we play a game against the pies first while dees and blues play, and we meet the dees later in the year?

i dont think you made it earlier on this year to vic park where we played the pies. it was really amazing playing on that ground, and i know they are all feral their supporters but they treated us very well come food and drinks. they got access to the kitchen and had the freezers/fridges/bbq's etc all going. i broke my thumb in 2 places and their support was amazing, the first aid kit and everything...ice, bandages..you name it they had it! would love to be able to play them there again. playing on vic park didnt mean too much to me as i never saw a game there, but im sure it would to a few of our guys and most of theirs!
