He has been a large part of this club for a long period of time.

No doubt he'll still be watching and cheering on tomorrow night, and next week too!!

My thoughts are with his friends and family. RIP Jack.

Very sad to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

He was a lovely, lovely man. Very kind and very welcoming, and down to earth.

RIP Jack.

We all belong to a fantastic football family, and today we lost a genuine and decent human being.

My thoughts go out to the family and all at the club.

Terribly saddened to hear of Jack's passing.

A great man, a humble man and a man of the people in the St Kilda Football Club. From the top bloke to the doormen, Jack was as chatty, warm and friendly to everyone. And always had a huge smile on his face.

Jack will be sadly missed.

Condolences to the family.

RIP Jack

Never had the fortune of meeting him but all tales were of him being an exquisitely-mannered gentleman who supported this club as if every day was his last.

Please, Saints, win it for us, yourselves, and the Barker family.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Rest in Peace Jack

What an emotional week - seeing Jim Stynes then hearing Shane Crawford speak after his epic effort and now hearing of Jacks passing.
Puts a lot of things into perspective.

I'm glad I met Trevor as a kid and it sticks in my head and also meeting Jack down at training. Two great men of football and the public.

Condolences to Family and close friends of Jack

Lets do it Sainters

Prior to this sad news, the 'Dog's may have been a 1% chance of winning tomorrow night. Now they have absulutely no hope. Pity the old fella could hang on for eight more days.

When I heard the news this morning, I was totally devestated! Still remember Jack at last years training session prior to the Grand Final. Was hoping to see him there next week as well. So close, just so damn close!!!!

"Jack Barker 19?? - 2010

RIP."

Gotta be the banner, doesn't it?

Really sorry to hear about Jack, let's hope he can watch a Saints premiership with his son.
