Noise From the Saints Crowd

The noise by the Saints crowd was FREAKIN' FANTASTIC today. We sang the St Kilda theme song during their song, the stupid Collingwood chant was drowned out on numerous occasions and at some stages in the game, I thought the filth supporters had gone home.

Of course, I was sitting near the back of M3 so maybe all I could hear was Saints cheering. Have not had a chance to watch the replay yet, so I was wondering what those who watched it elsewhere in the ground or on the TV thought?

I actually thought the St Kilda crwod was the best I could remember. Any time the Pies tried to get their Collingwood chant rolling the St Kilda clap clap calp cut it off.

I would have to agree. We were exceptional before the team was even out on the ground. I was absolutely amazed. Excellent job Saints!

The way we stopped there chant was fantastic, brought a smile to my every time they tried we just shut them down

Couldn't hear the Collingwood fans from where I was. Thats the + of standing room.

Fantastic from Saints!!! Loved the noise we were making!!
We were M11 standing and the noise from around the back was awesome!!
Great the way we drowned out their chant everytime they tried to get it going!!!
Best crowd I have been apart of!!!

that Collingwood Chant dissappeared completley in the third qu.

was good to hear the St Kilda clap and chant from all levels of the ground- Including the upper reaches...

Very, very impressed from the Saints noise I could hear from my bay (Q3). Every time that obnoxious Collingwood chant started up it would get drowned out by a much louder Saints one, which seemed to resonate throughout the entire ground (an illusion, no doubt).

It was enough to touch a nerve in a few Pies supporters sitting in front of me (why were they sitting in the SC members section in the first place? For shame!).

It was great to be part of the Saints chant! Just love this club so much!

(Sorry I am tearing up right now)..

We will do it again next week at the ground or at O'Donnell Gardens or anywhere around Australia!

Forget all the rubbish about Collingwood. We are the best club!

The Saints fans at the game looked and sounded AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loud and proud and showing our colours! Was brilliant!!

I love this club, I love our fans!

I have faith, I believe! Our boys never gave up!

Oh what a feeling! Being in the "trenches" with those Sainters up in Q11!
Folks, you were MAGNIFICENT!!!!!! This old heart of mine was pumping to beat the band during that game...after the match it swelled fit to burst with pride to be a small part of our wonderful Saints Family!!!
