Marsh 2 Game thread

Post: # 1841435Post terry smith rules »

The umpiring in the first quarter is diabolical

Battle not paid a mark where he had real purchase then Cox paid a mark for barely a touch

Don't start me on the frees

We are still struggling to get a clean ball inside fifty. Backs playing well and moving the ball into the mids with ease but then we seem to panic and the long bombor kick it to a contest as option number one. Roberton looking good and long a much better HBF than chf

Three votes Hunter Clark for getting the umpire to change his mind.

Too much pressure.

Collingwood's defence is tight and the midfield pressure is making it hard to use it moving forward.

Having said that, 3 bad missed set shots and we'd be in front.

Ed Phillips is channeling Eli Templeton both with the stand out headwear and his style of play. Chalking up 20kms a match for 2 disposals and a 50 against.

For once, I’d just like to draft a young forward who is a naturally good kick for goal... :(

I’m really liking Long on the half back line

I wasn’t sure about that when I heard about it, but his confidence is a lot higher back there.

Long has cemented a spot and I'm liking Billings poise atm.

King will improve accuracy I'm sure. we are looking ok. Ratten needs to get their defensive skills up and we are cooking with gas.

Also there is a lot of short passing to players under pressure..need to fix that.

3 goals to half time.

Same as the girls last night FWIW (in less actual game time).

Why do we have two threads?

Repeating myself here:
According to SEN, Ben Long has 18 possessions for the first half!
Across the back line. Fantastic move!

Because the team thread should finish at the bounce and then we have a game thread .. That is the tradition
