Anyone know who?
I am so psyched for this game...please Saints!
It's a pressing question, in these times.

Well, Jezza out does me. John McIntosh used to drop kick on either foot.

I think Nicky "Cuz" Winmar launched a few over his career.

Last one I remember drop kicking consistently was Cowboy
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

Re: Last Saint to kick a bonafide drop kick...
Ron Barrassi coaching North during the 1970s observed how many drop kicks were actually fluffed.
Too many chaos balls.
He banned all his players from using the drop kick except Barry Cable.
Cable would kick drop kicks for goal on the run.
He was the last truly great drop kick.
Other coaches heard the message and saw the stats.
Within a couple of years a player would be dropped for trying the drop kick.
The drop punt, no better exponent than Peter McKenna, is far more reliable and creates the same back spin that stabilises the balls flight path.

Good historical observation, Ace.
I still miss the drop kick, especially the stab pass.
But it was chaos -- 50% of them went anywhere.

Derryn Hinch vindicated.

You are not allowed to change the government of Victoria that way.
You need to get a majority of the drop kicks to stop voting the wrong way.

One of Alan Davis’ 10 against Collingwood at Moorabbin was a brilliant drop kick. Talk about nonchalant!

Michael Gardiner in 2010.
So tepid were the Dockers, Saints ruckman Michael Gardiner found the time in the third quarter to drop-kick a goal from the goal square.

Surely 2010 and Mr. Gardiner then. Cheeky that was. Reminds me of Joey’s “bounce” at the goal line to sap a second off the clock. Good job Saintsrising.
Was just about to ask Superboot about Allan Davis. I was a tad young before he shipped off with me to Melbourne in 1976 to get big Carl back (with head band) . This Allan Davis also sounds laconic. Famous for eating a Violet Crumble on the bench. What year was this superboot?

The Argus, May 10th, 1897
The dropkick, which had well nigh been replaced
entirely by the crude, bull-headed punt, will, I
fancy, once more become the glory of the game, for
an observant onlooker could not fail to notice its
value on Saturday. As we get back to something
like the old lines, the rule that a good big man
always beats a good little one will once more be
respected, and physique become again a require-
ment, especially where coupled with pace.
