Membership package?

Post: # 1890802Post Enrico_Misso »

Been getting emails since my membership renewal automatically rolled over back in November telling me it was being processed and finally has arrived in Australia (guess that means it is some el-cheapo production from our dear Chinese friends?), but still no show!!!!

Not sure how you reserve a seat without your card.
How many months does it take (4 so far)???????

It’s not hard to book tickets at all.
It literally is a 10 digit code that they email before every game to remind you, and you just paste that into the ticket ordering system. You don’t need your pack to order.
My pack came a couple of months ago, but my wife’s has not arrived yet (got an email the other day saying it was coming later this month) yet we both signed up together.

Same here, Wayne42. Paid months ago. I keep getting emails that delivery has been delayed. The latest delivery time is between 15-28th March.

I regret investing in the "Hannebery/Hamill" membership package. It's always just two week away!

I thought cards had already been sent out. I'm sure I got mine.

Now, what draw did I put it in..

Top drawer; next to the Paddy McCarten and Dan Hannebery buttons (collectors items so take care).

The cards are irrelevant. The most important information you need to book tickets is your Bar Code.

If you want to go in a group you need to get the barcodes of everyone in the group and designate someone to order the tickets online.

I also don't believe the tickets will be printable. They get sent to your phone. Its then up to you to forward them on to the other people in the group if you are going the game separately.

My pack has yet to arrive too, but we need to cut the club some slack. I heard a while ago that all or most of the clubs combine through a central agency (maybe AFL is involved) to source items included in the members' packs, a bulk buy deal, with most of the stuff sourced in Asia. The pandemic has resulted in long delays for manufacture and delivery.

Same goes for new cars - most car dealers have no stock and have to "forward sell" to their customers for delivery 6 - 8 weeks later.

Blame the China virus!

Returning to the stands: Your guide to attending St Kilda AFL games

Last updated: 16 March 2021

Due to new AFL protocols as a result of COVID-19, capacity limits apply at Victorian stadiums. This currently sits at 50% for Victorian stadiums including Marvel Stadium. As a result, the way you attend games will look a little bit different this year. Members will be required to redeem a complimentary ticket* to each home game at Marvel Stadium via the Ticketmaster website. Members will not be able to scan their membership cards to access games.

Access members will be required to redeem a reserved seat for each home game, on a round by round basis, via Ticketmaster using a 12-digit barcode provided by the club. This includes tickets for any children over 12 months and under the age of six, for capacity and contact tracing purposes. Members will be emailed this barcode on Thursday 18 March, along with further instructions on how to book their tickets for Round 2 (Spud's Game).

All access members will receive an exclusive booking group window to lock in a ticket. Members have been grouped into three booking windows based on the level of membership held. More detail about the member grouping as well as on-sale times are below:
MEMBERSHIP TYPE GROUPING BOOKING WINDOW OPEN FROM: PRICE YOU PAY
Level 2 Reserved Seat
Level 2 Ultimate Reserved Bays
MCC Level 2 Reserved Bays 1 Tuesday, 1pm
(week of home game) $0
Level 1 Wing 1 Tuesday, 1pm
(week of home game) $0
Level 1 Behind the Goals Reserved Seat
Level 1 Reserved Bays
Level 3 Reserved Seat 2 Tuesday, 3pm
(week of home game) $0
General Admission 3 Tuesday, 5pm
(week of home game) $0 or reserved seat upgrade if available

Click here to view more information on the booking process

Members will have until 8am Wednesday to redeem their ticket before any available seating will be released to the away team at 10am Wednesday, followed by the general public for sale at 1pm Wednesday. Due to COVID-19 compliance, all member ticketing will be mobile this season.

Information and updates through the season will occur rapidly and with little notice. We will continue to try and keep our members informed via email as we receive important information so make sure your details are up to date!

We understand that these are new and potentially daunting processes for some however as they will remain in place for the foreseeable future, we ask that you read through the available resources to help make the process as smooth as possible. You can view a list of FAQs here.

Our friendly Membership team will also be on hand to help guide you and answer any questions you may have. It will be a busy time for our staff so we ask for your patience and understanding. We are so excited that live footy is back for our fans and want to ensure we safely get as many members back at Marvel Stadium cheering together again in 2021.

You can reach us on 1300 467 246 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday or via email at membership@saints.com.au.

We appreciate your patience when contacting the team as there will be an increased volume of inbound traffic. We will respond as quickly as possible.

*Tickets are not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first in, first served basis.

I don’t know why there are so many posters upset about the membership packs being late.
They are of virtually no use this year as with the post COVID admittance everything will be by barcode and ticket.

Well my card finally turned up, but my wife's (automatically paid on the same date on the same credit card) hasn't.

But what is the point of the card?
- it can't be used for ground entry
- it has no barcode so it can't be used online

Does it serve any function at all?

Do we have to sign up to (another) app or can the barcode just be sent to you by text?
