I was happy with the result & I hate West Coast & I know they get an arm chair ride at home but the umpiring was pretty was ordinary & handed them a double chance IMO anyway but I'm not disappointed

They did get some very dodgy frees in that last quarter though.

Joe Daniher is the most overrated , self -entitled player in the competition . Gets an absolute armchair ride by the umps, and then blows up deluxe when he doesn’t get his own way. Would not have survived in the days when Cowboy Neale was prowling around in our backline.

Berry another one of their annoying stagers. Fortunately the worst of them - Rhys Matheson ( who could be tackled around the waist and still throw his head back )- is a dud player and can’t make their team.

Bulldogs will put a contract out on Tom Cole. His stupid undisciplined act swung the game Brisbane's way and cost The Bulldogs a top 4 spot. I reckon his coach and his team mates won't be thrilled with him, either.

Silly but wasn't a lot in IMO should not have resulted in another shot on goal but hey if that was in W.A & it was the other way around same decision would have been made .Noise of affirmation or just cheating is rife in Interstate games & the home teams reap the rewards every week as I said earlier I'm not disappointed

After Melbournes win last night I think they are now new favourites. Geelong went into their shell like last years GF, otherwise I would have thought Geelong to be the favourites. Now they have to go to Adelaide to play Port and even if they win their road will be too tough.

In short I would like to see Melbourne win it.

Back on thread topic, I was keeping an eye on the scores in that Lions game while I was out for 1 of the 5 reasons to scratch yourself and I noticed that the last quarter went for 40 minutes!
Was somebody seriously injured ior was there a streaker in the last quarter causing a long delay?
