Love his output in only his third game against adults and the fact that the saints are taking him to Canberra tomorrow.

Early call but this boy is something special.

Pity the trading rules don't allow us to sell a spare ruckman to Hawthorn. They're probably so desperate they'd almost certainly pay 'overs'.

I'd be OK to give up Campbell for their 1st round draft pick next year.

I’ve watched young Heath closely over pre season..the things that I like about him are:

* He is combative
* He attacks the ball in the air & clunks his marks one grab

All he needs now is to get stronger and build his tank, which will come because he has a great attitude and work ethic.

He's gonna be a gun.
So very raw, but a competitive monster.

I really like how they named him as an emergency this week.
Rewarding the form at Sandringham.

Heath will definitely debut this year and once he's in it may well be that he's in to stay. So good to see selectors show some faith in the 1st season recruits which a lot of naysayers on this forum warned "they're too young, too skinny, let them learn the ropes with Sandy". I've always argued that if a new recruit has real potential and trains the house down there's no better way to "learn the ropes" than by giving them games in the Firsts. That has been the way in the AFL forever...and this is the first time for years St Kilda has brought in a handfull of excellent prospects!

Agree Mike plus for a tall lad he doesnt mind getting on the ground and scrapping for the ball. I am going to go out on a limb and suggest Heath will become one of the leading ruckman in the competition. He has the Nankervis/Mumford combativeness with a better leap and potentially better marking abilities.

We were exceptionally lucky to get him when we did and it was a great selection by our recruiters.

Ummm - Box Hill Hawks anyone - historically they taught the system at Box Hill - then debuted battle hardened players

Paddy McCartin would have thrived at Box Hill - unfortunately (at St Kilda) Needs Must
