Shame Eljay isn't playing, would be good to see him line up alongside No. 26 from the Bombers...

I could see Rix, LVR, CJ and Eddy missing out this week.

Interesting to note that Gwilt and Ferguson have not made the cut for any of our NAB games, or the intra-club.

I would hope that CJ is not rested and given his chance to further develop....along with Eddy.

However CJ is on the senior list...and can play H&A now...so hence I would like game time into him so that he is ready back up as a small forward (ie to in case of injury to Schneider and Milne).

His pace may be handy on some of the young Dons too as some of them are quick (though their quickest are out).

Rix will play as a tall defender picking up Johns or Hille, there aren't many other options without Max and Goose in the line up, I would hate to throw Gilbert or Raph at these two big guys and Fisher will get Lucas

Gilbert would be a good matchup for these guys, should be able to hold his own in the air, and be extremely damaging running off them.

I wouldnt mind seeing Gilbert play on Lucas. Its games like these were he can see if he can handle a key role.

how will the forward set up work without kosi and fraser?

i'd suggest roo at ff, allen playing kosi's role and charlie gardiner playing roo's role.

that way we can use the same game plan as i presume we intend to take into the real season. quick and direct movement to a tall, mobile forward line.

will be a good chance for allen and gardiner to prove their worth

Again, no McEvoy? :(

There must be a reason, I wonder what it is.

I said the other day that someone had mentioned seeing McEvoy in a moon boot, so perhaps he's injured.

Matt Ferguson is also apparently injured.
