I'm loving Steven being an inclusion, he was the draftee I was most excited about.

While he has nearly no chance of getting a game this year you can bet your bottom dollar I will be leading the bandwagon next season!!

Doubt either will come into the team....

But if they do - They need to really deliver, being young isn't an excuse in finals.

Jesus, wouldn't be bad for a debut!

Very small chance of getting a game unfortunately.

Last week woulda been best.

I reckon could be:

OUT Demp, Birss
IN X, McQualter

EMG: Armo, Birss, Steven

My opinion:

In: McQualter, X. Clarke
Out: Dempster, Eddy (not that he deserves to be, only because of a lack of experience. I think the coaches might want a harder body in there - i.e. McQualter)

Probably the best team we could have hoped for IMO.

Without Baker, Maguire, Ball and Gardiner to call on, we're really down to sourcing out the depths of what is not a deep list.

Would Eddy, R Clarke, Blake, Jones, Gwilt, McQualter or Birss get a run in any of the other top eight teams? In all honesty, probably not. But all of them have at least shown something this year and there is a little to be gained from that. I'll be curious to see how many of them are still here in five years' time.

Realistcally, I would have been semi-tempted to recall Leigh Fisher to fill Dempster's role, and would have considered Fiora for Jones - but that's about it. And even then I probably would have baulked on both.

Allan and Geary haven't done enough.

FWIW - Good work by SaintsMedia to get it to us first. We appreciate that.

Increased communication from the club to its members is appreciated. Keep the lines open; you cannot underestimate how important this is. And by reaching out to us on an unofficial forum, you're showing that you care more about communicating with us, where we congregate on our terms, rather than chanelling us into one of your own creations.

Blake R Clarke and Birss would all get a game for the Crows and Pies and probably North and possibly Sydney.

Have a look at other teams, especially in botto?m half of the 8 and ask yourself if they would come in to us?

I agree a few are a little dodgy, but September makes players, its all in front of them.....

Time for someone to stand up like Jimmy Gwilt did in 2005 at AAMI Stadium.

Raph Clarke... your time is now!

Yep I can't see any getting dropped from last week.

Mini the unlucky one IMO, bad time to get injured and Birsss grabbed his chance

As with the consensus here, there will be only one change, Dempster out and either X or McQualter in.

X may get the nod because he has the extra pace.

The only 5 who really have a chance getting into the final bench are:
Shane Birss, Andrew McQualter, Charlie Gardiner, , Xavier Clarke, Robert Eddy

The only changes will be:

In - X, McQualter
Out - Dempster, Eddy

I hope not.

Eddy thoroughly deserves his spot, he has EARNT it, and we need only play one of Pircha and Mini.

X for Dempster is the only change I think there will be

Uh, is it really fair to group Jason Blake with Jones, Gwilt, Eddy and McQualter, all of whom are struggling to make it into our best 22?

Blake will be top 10 in our B&F, again, this year. It's about time people accept that he has developed into a very important and versatile player for us. I think he would have a place in most teams because of his versatility and work ethic.
