You'd hope so.... Our forwards are getting raped by the Umps.

Rooey scragged constantly. Kosi's getting bashed..... B.J had an arm held in a contest AND dragged to ground!! The MAGGOT was right there to see it.

Thank God for Milney being there to crumb!

Surely you can't suspend a guy for tackling someone with the ball. The late sling wasn't needed but it's no more than a free kick.

I've just seen it again and Kosi had no idea that the ball had come out.

Common sense would say it should be thrown out.

Kosi had no way of knowing that the ball was gone. Good angle of it along the boundary line. Will get off.

WAkelin had the ball.

Will get off. It was a fair tackle because he clearly knew he had the ball.

Commentators think he will get off, because he had no idea Wakelin had disposed of the ball.

Very soft from what I saw.

Even Blight and Quartermain reckon there was nothing in it. We know how biased dear Malcolm is and how much Quartermain sucks up to Eddy Ego. But hang on a minute....this is St Kilda we are talking about - Kosi will get about 10 weeks!

Has carry over points apparently so better get off. His vision of the ball was obscured by Wakelin's body and in slinging him to the ground Kosi turned his head away from the line of the ball so he should have a case to argue.

With Hawks lack of tall options down back for Roo and Kosi it's really important that he plays.

I've been waiting for the injuries or suspension to come that will derail us ala Vidovic, Frawley.....

Hope the curse has been lifted

KB on SEN right now saying that tackler will be in strife if there is a combination of 2 factors - notices player not in posession and continues a 2nd action as in a dump. Kosi did neither. Vision clearly shows that Kosi could nor see that Wakelin had got rid of the ball and the tackle was a fluent albeit very hard movement. At worst a fine.

I reckon he wanted to hurt Wakelin and was seriously pissed off with the 2 frees paid against him. I'm not so confident of Kossie getting off, played a good game though. Why would you wan to trade him after tonights performance.

I'll be mighty p15s'd off if Kosi goes for that when Hall got off smacking goose in the guts 70 metres off the ball in 05.

Kosi's "general awareness" has me seriously concerned though. I do like the guy but if this awareness continues you wonder how long we can go.

It will be touch and go. I think he knew the Wakelin did not have the ball and decided to exact so revenge for an incident that occurred just prior. The umpire knew that too, which is why he was reported. However, the MRP can only look at the isolated incident. The benefit of the doubt may go his way.

I was actually really pissed at Kozzi as he was pretty much giving back a shitload of momentum to Collingwood with those free kicks... so when he got reported i didnt mind

But now, boy, he is absolutely vital
takes away a really good defender for Riewoldt

Kosi is huge for the saints. His loss would be significant. He played a good against the Hawks and I reckon that they would be wrapped if the AFL confirmed they are corrupt and suspend him.

thought there was bugger all in it. The initial tackle was fair and the dump into the turf was a continuation of that motion. If he gets rubbed out the system is seriously stuffed.

Milburn got 4 weeks for a similar incident just 3 or 4 weeks ago. Geelong appealed and reduced to 1 week. I think he is in trouble but they seem more lenient in finals.

How could he have known when was he facing the other way?

Have a close look at the vision and Wakelin had the ball when the one motion tackle began and Kosi's head was back not looking at the ball during the slinging part of the motion so he can not see that the ball has gone free.

If the defence is right, he'll be right.

If the defence is right is the key thought. Our lawyers' record hasn't been that great.

If Kosi was playing for the Swans it wouldn't be an issue.
