I'm in the Bay of Islands in NZ. Football news is far away except on the internet.

In these parts Hawthorn seem to have the right idea looking at some of these Maori blokes. They are as big as Plugger and they can run.

3 years ago I was logging on to this sight while on holidays in the middle of Italy to get the latest footy info fix.

A bit like ringing home to your Mum in a way. You get told to behave & not be too abusive. Good to be put in your proper place.

We're home tomorrow from New Zealand. Geez I'm looking forward to seeing my dog more than my teenage daughters. Sad isn't it?

When I started on site I was in Bahrain 3 weeks a month and flew back to Hong Kong the rest of time to be with my beautiful wife.

I never met a Saints supporter in the Middle East but after time I did have the Chairman’s son and his mate in Saints tee shirts in a Bahrain pub dancing to a beatles cover lol.

I used to do some work in Switzerland earlier this decade and Kosifantutti23 is from there and it would have been so great to have met up but it was before I was on site.

From Saintsational contacts I have partied with the WA Saints and it was brilliant even though I have kept my forum identity separate.

I live in Qatar and have done for the last 6 years - we now have an Aussie Rules league here in the Middle East and our next game is against Bahrain

Have got a few non-Aussie mates here into the Saints by gifting them Saints jumpers - thought it was the least I could do
