All of the above. May play for Sandy today.

Do we know the prognosis yet? Feel for the kid - really deserved a breakout year this year and has looked good in all but a couple of games (to be expected) - it's a real shame if this season becomes a write-off for him. But as said somewhere else, hopefully he can learn from Hayes and Goddard about how to come back bigger, stronger and more determined that ever!

this was obviously post match-
"Armitage, who was one of the Zebras' better players, had his day ended by a knee injury. However, Saints development coach Andy Lovell believed it was not serious.

"There was a blow to the knee so they're not quite sure how bad it was, but they'll assess him. I don't think it's major," Lovell said.

Ruckman Ben McEvoy was taken off for precautionary reasons with a slight knee strain.

Lovell said ruckman Steven King battled hard. "He's just doing what he needs to do to stay fit to be ready when he's needed (at St Kilda)."

So Mac was taken off for precautionary injury reasons rather than putting him in cotton wool for next week? :?

Great news on Armo though if injury not as severe as first thought

Clarify WHAT. Ask someone who was at the game how he came of FFS.

Don't know anyone who is a medico so if you know anything please let us know. We are all hoping it is not an ACL or something as bad as that.

Yes like that Ben Johnston from Filth earlier this year. Looked real bad and he was back in 2 weeks.

I hope he is ok, or gets the best diagnosis possible.
Good luck Armo!

Sorry the bloke got hurt and all, but wonder what GC thinks about its new recruit turning up all broken...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

**** that's annoying

He shouldn't have been playing for Sandy 2 month's ago anyway... his form was fairly good. He just was dominating Sandy as well, ridiculous that Dempster and Eddy, even McQualter get a game before Armo.

Hoping for the best.

He's a very important player imo. Always puts his head over the ball, that's why I like him so much.

I just wish he didn't hurt himself playing for Sandy a month ago, and it had to be against Lockyer from Collingwood. I will forever hate that bloke so much. Prick.

Unless you know for a fact he has signed....thats a really s*** comment.

He's probably concerned about his career as a whole - Not who he is playing with next year.
