Yep, just something. Cripps, Ledger, Crocker, Winmar- something!

I mean really we are we going with Andrew McQualter and Brett Peake?

Gram can be more than a GOP but he isn't playing like it and his spot should be moving into the 'at risk' zone

Unfortunately it's been there for a while. Last year - he had the injury card as a get out of jail clause - however it's been a few years since he's played good footy (save for the Geelong GF).

If Gamble had had a good night, it would have been a lot more. R1...give it some time.

it's not our players - it's our plan of attack.
we need to find one.

Gram was great in the midfield when being creative and kicking better. Right now he needs to retunr to HB and create the run through midfield to establish doubt in the oppositions mind on what is next.

His kicking needs improvement.

I also dont really rate Gilbert as a forward but his short kicking is a liability down back and longer kicking at goal is more reliable so Ross give this a go.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

no no. we just need to play our "roles" better. maybe fill more empty space. be more defensive. get eddy back in to fill space. u know. stick to our structures, then we will start winning again. great plan. cos sh*t footballers who do their "role" are much more important than blokes who might be able to actually play the game. sheesh.

skills and discipline down on 09, were marginally down in 10.

we have to bridge the gap to collingwood and stay ahead of the pack, not gently decline.

We sure are declining fast. Too many in that side that are clear duds and have been perservered with far too long.

Heard Ross on the radio before the game - apparently Cripps was pencilled in from 3 weeks ago but got a bit of the flu during the week, so was left out.

From that you would think he will definitely play next week, which is one positive.

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

open up the forward line

Post: # 1051881Post seano1 »

the suggestion on tv to play a pagans paddock forward line is not a bad idea, if we keep roo at full forward and kosi at chf and leave all the space for roo to run into would mean he would most times only playing against one player instead of 3. I`m sure if we leave roo at chf he will be struggling to see out his current contract as all the hits he`s taking will shorten his playing career.

That's what I was thinking seano1 leave riewoldt in the goal square and no one else in the forward 50.

Stanley has to be an IN
Cannot have only one big forward, who constantly has to beat 3 defenders.
