questions you'd like to see answers too

Post: # 1089557Post saintbrat »

was thinking today - yeh I know thats hard to believe

but wondered how long before we could safely ask for some answers on simple things - at a point when those involved are well out of the game/field

at a point where it won't make any differance to anyone when it's discussed and it can be talked about freely...

like
: asking Luke Ball why he really left
and : exactly what terms were offered or who wasn't
: asking how many time Essendon have really made plays for Saints players
; asking why some teams can 'afford' some players

or even
what did ##### say to ^^^^^ during that game...
what happened to.....

would it be 10 yrs or 20 yrs or not im my lifetime..... the next century.

Let alone the AFL allowing the press or anyone else to ask the hard questions or even more importantly asking them with a statment tht starts with "Look......"

Or Andrew Dimwit getting that really defensive tone in his voice when he has to answer a question he doesn't like.

What did John Greening say to Jimmy O'Dea in the carpark before that infamous game?

I would have thought one of the best punches ever seen would have at least connected.

What happened half way through the 1998 season between Stan Alves and the players?
What made anyone think Tim Watson could coach?

He'd give them unheavingly sprays. In particular the one after the semi final defeat to Melbourne...

1. Why did so many Saints players put in such a p&*s weak effort in the 2010 GF replay?
2. When are we going to get a bit smarter with recruiting and trading?

or

Why did Luke Ball not get more game time in the 09 GF, seeing if he did we could of possibly won.

or

Why does the club persist with Kosi?

we will never know the truth

He lost them prior to that game, though...I always suspected that it was a particular incident that may have been through temper.

Don't mean to criticise fellow Saints fans in my first post, but seriously those two really smack of the dumped boyfriend. Sometimes the girl just won't answer and it comes across as needy and desperate (speaking very much from recent experience, here). The only way to truly get over it is to suck it up, accept it happened and forget that the ex (i.e. Ball) is shagging someone else now. Just try not to imagine that things are better with the new partner.

Welcome to the madness clisaint :)

What you say makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately there's as much chance of that actually happening as there is of Luke coming back and playing for us for nothing.

I am desperately keen to understand the Alves situation myself.

WHen it was recent, no one would open up about it.

Some people mentioned him grabbing Max's jumper, but it would take more than that for such a huge drop off, and it even looked like the team wasn't trying... not the way they'd tried in 97, anyway.

He says in the book he gave Harves a spray and lost him... I'd love to know more. Harves book said nothing of substance about anything... it was all "I don't know why this happened".

Why did they do a backflip flip on cousins, after going to perth and presenting him with the #9 jumper... Something spooked them, after they had already made it a goer

Why did we move from the Junction Oval?
