new AFL ad

Am I alone in being pissed off at the new AFL advertisement, leading into the finals.

For those who have no seen it, near the end it says something like

"even if your a fairweather supporter...." Image of saints supporters
"or a fantatic...." Image of pies supporters

Up yours AFL

Haven't seen it. But Stkilda supporters are far from fairweather. To say that majority of our supporters have been with us through thick and very very thin clearly shows that we are fanatics. Collingwood supporters are bandwagoners only come out when they are winning.

I was more annoyed the fairweather supporters were girls (from memory)

If I'd been on that ad and they'd called me fairweather I'd have been in the paper! A grumpy little Yank I'd have been....

I am yet too see above mentioned ad.

I guess the person who directed and/or writer(s) of the advertisement are Filth supporters or St.Kilda haters.

Poor form on behalf of the AFL to approve of this sort of BS. Afterall, we - as supporters - have bloody well patronised three of their GF's in the space of two years.

That's right, Mr Demetriou, we forked out for an extra GF ticket after you kept your money grubbing system in place. Now we are "fair weather" supporters, are we?

We have 1 Premiership in our club's entire 110+ year history in the competetion, yet we have remained true and loyal to our club over the decades enduring heartbreak and frustration.

Seems like quite the contrary to an example of "fair weather" supporting to me
