Judas has departed but the damage may only have started

Post: # 1142099Post Vazelos »

Has anyone stopped to think what players Ross Lyin will be targeting to take on our list?

Nettlefold and Westaway were far too respectful for my liking, soft reaction.

How would eddie have reacted if it was Collingwood?

Be prepared for the snake to bite twice!!!

I dont think there too respectful, theres just no point rubbishing him publicly. Just get on with the job.

They were asked about other staff and they said all the key personel were contracted including Misson.

I doubt they'd be as nice off the record, or in person. Professional is the word, we don't need to air our dirty laundry...remember what a dick Blighty looked like when he did?

Well, that doesn't fill me with confidence.

Why do we naturally feel that anyone would actually want to follow him?

Maybe some players who feel they won't get a game without him. But if that's the case, who needs them.

Perhaps most players will welcome the change.

One thing wrong with their overly deferential and respectful descriptions of Lyon is that the prick used it against them in his presser. He referred to the St Kilda presser and said something to the effect, "they [Nettlefold and Westaway] said it was a great five years." The implication is that we have nothing to complain about because he left the Board happy with his performance. They should have anticipated he'd do this.

His got 7.5 million reasons to not care what we think, but he is still trying to find reasons to justify how he didn't screw us.

If that helps him sleep at night, good on him.

He acted in bad faith and knows it, but in the cold, hard, light of day that means nothing, he is Fremantle coach and we need to beat 3 other clubs to the best available coach.

Stop f****** comparing Ross to Judas!!!

Judas was a decent bloke who made a terrible mistake, and committed suicide because of guilt.

Any of that sound like Lyon to you?

I think he may well have alienated himself from his former players by a fairly long length and most people that have worked with him wanted out.

It could also be argued that both showed a level of professionalism, dignity and class that we could be proud of !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Well, maybe we should get on the front foot, and see if we can pinch a few Freo players who are out of contract.

Richmond should be very, very worried about some of their de-listed hacks, look out Shane Tuck or Brad Miller!!!
