We have been left so far at the back of the pack ... most other clubs are going to be making appointments by the time our panel comes together. That leaves with the ones that make John West the best.

Really disappointing reality is hitting me, whoever the appointment is it's most likely going to be a temporary to fill the breach and mark time.

Very depressing ....

Richmond hired Wallace, then the Dogs took Eade, then the Hawks took Clarkson.

Terms of contract are not a priority ATM. The ONLY criteria I would like to see at this stage is asking for expressions of interest from people who WANT TO COACH THE St KILDA FOOTBALL CLUB. From there we can start to prune the list !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

All these guys are rookies. No guarantees any of them are any good.

Lyon wasn't even in the picture when we and other clubs were looking around a few years ago.

Whenever clubs go with first time coaches it's a random process. Last picked doesn't necessarily translate to least successful.

Then let's just hope that it's a good pick, Doc.

There plenty of talent out there. I'm not worried in the slightest about that. The crucial thing is to make the right selection. This is not something to rush into just to beat out the opposition. Find the best available and appoint him.
