Just finished.
Asked about the circle of players. Brett said that it is called the "Circle of Zen". It is in relation to the book written by Phil Jackson(Chicago Bulls basketball coach). All of the playing group were told to buy and read the book by yesterday. Commented that it wasn't an easy book to find. Brett said that the circle was lead by a player who spoke for 45 seconds and then nominated the next leader. Discussion was about looking each other in the eye and talking about what had just been done at training, and what needed to be done going forward. Was working well he said.
There is a fresh feel around the club with lots of new players, etc. How can you not be excited, he commented.
Asked about Scotty's excellent man management skills(according to Dermie), Brett said that Scott was great and had a super knowledge of the game after spending a couple of years at Pies and coaching Subi to a couple of flags.
Hinted that the new game plan was a more attacking version. When asked if it would helpRooey he said "Yeah, if he is playing there! Don't know because he is still o/seas."
Christmas break for players is 20/21st December till 4th January

Roo can only play between CHF and FF. At the very best, none of us know f if can play well in any other position and that include Waters. And , that is being optimistic IMO.
