Perth-Based Sainters- The Inglewood again?

Well, yesterday, there was a massive turn-out.
Not for the Saints vs Bowling Ball head; no, lots of dudes watching some rubbish rugby- All-Blacks vs Ireland.
They commandeered most of the TVs.
We were given a TV in the corner, and managed to hear some of the audio, even though the Kiwis and Irish were making lots of noise.
SO...WHY DID ONLY THREE of us TURN UP ?

I was one of them!

It's not normally like that, but if I'd known they were screening the IRL/NZ game, I would have gone somewhere else.

It's also very different when it is a Western Saints function at the Inglewood because for those games we normal get 100ish. I'm not sure when the next official game is for them.

I tried to contact the Western Saints through their website and on their facebook page.
Nobody seemed to bother to contact me. They don't give a rat's, apparently.
In the past, I used to go to the Hyde Park for most Foxtel games, then the Karalee, then I believe some dramas occurred between some of the Western Saints, much like Richmond in-fighting (we should be above this rubbish!) and an announcement was made that the Inglewood would be the new HQ. Well, maybe it's not?
If the apathy continues, I won't bother. I will just go to my local pub and watch it in the sports bar.

I've been very impressed with The Western Saints since I've been in Perth (about 12 months now) and although I don't know anything of your attempts to contact them (or any history), you must remember it is a volunteer organisation and my observations are that they do a terrific job.

I thought the Carlton game last year at The Inglewood was brilliant and the function that they arranged at Subi for the Sydey final last season was brilliant.

Western Saints. I will go to the Inglewood and if they happen to be there, fine, but I wont be having a beer with them.
