Get him. He would work well with Hickey.

I am completely shocked he has been delisted, was one of the premier ruckman last year, unfortunately it was injuries that kept him out this year and Mike Pyke has taken his opportunity.

Sainter for life.

Would definitely rookie him. He has been stuck behind gun ruckmen his whole career (Cox, Gardiner and Mumford) but has always performed quite well when he's had the rare opportunity to be the number one ruck. That's his issue though - he has to be number one or he's not worth playing, particularly with the sub rule.

He's at the age where he'll be at the absolute top of his game right now and honestly would be a better tap ruckman than McEvoy, but doesn't do a lot around the ground. So if he was on our list, the only way he'd get a gig is if McEvoy went down and we didn't have faith in Stanley or Hickey (potentially) to play as first ruck.

Back-up/depth player at best. My understanding is that he is close to done, due to injury.

3 years with the swans for 18 games:

2010: 6/
2011: 7/ 5 NEAFL
2012: 5/ 10 NEAFL

Too injury prone in my books

Yes earlier this year, he played well and was still dropped. In line behind Mumford, Pyke and now Tippet. Like Hickey and Martin, he can ruck and play forward. He and Dev coach Jaymie Graham were at WCE together I think.
Always had a lot of time for Seaby

Wasn't he originally from WA?

If that is the case Watters will definately look at him

There is a reason why Sydney delisted him at the end of the first day of the trade period after they spoke to every club.

He is the Harvey Norman of the trade period...NO INTEREST!

If his body is okay, I would look at him for a rookie spot… Like Hawthorn this year with McCauley & Pattinson, it is good to have a ruckmen 'in case of emergency' as they seem to get injured all the time and can't really be replaced by any other type of player.

May not be Seaby, but I like the idea of a solid, seasoned ruckmen as a back-up.

They preferred to go with Roughie when their Ruckman went down

I am from the GT school of thinking...

I don't rate s*** Ruckman...... They don't deserve a game purely because they are big, have to be able to win the ball also
