Tony Jones and Joey yesterday

Post: # 1348757Post maverick »

I'm sorry if I missed this in another thread, but did anyone see on the news grab where TJ asked Joey if this brough back bad memories for him?
The look Joey gave TJ was well deserved and his response ws, good on you Tony.

Grub of the lowest order is Tony Jones.
Still remember him trying to drum up comments at training from members back in 2004.

From people who actually know him say he is a good bloke..............

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Also a staffer at St Kilda heard the comments, not that I think whispers in the sky is relevant.

I used to work with him - he is a good bloke - very funny, remembers names always says hello - he is also a very career minded journo who puts that above all else. And as mad a collingwood supporter as any - low brow questioning not beyond him.

Joey's look was priceless, like he was shooting laser beams from his eyeballs.

TJ just doing what he is employed to do - not always tasteful and tactful but it is more and more the way tabloid reporters have to go these days, whether they like it or not
This is not the only time he has asked "the hard question" although I don't recall any on this board complaining when it was being asked of (say) Malthouse

What hard question?
The link is and was irrelevant, simply muckraking and unnecessary to tie Joey back in.
There is no story there, simple.

Sick of journalists hiding behind asking tough questions or trying to get a story, when there isn't one and all it does is hurt someone unnecessarily.

He is a complete wanker and I thoroughly enjoy Sam Newman's constant arguing with him when they are on tv together
