This FA period goes on for too long. Looks like a few clubs have stalled discussions whilst waiting for the FA period to close and see what picks get allocated before making their next move.
The close of AFL restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period should have been midday today - instead of Friday. Those players who had made their mind up to move under FA pretty well all knew once the FA period started and were quick out the blocks eg Buddy this year and Goddard last year.
Dragging on too long for my liking.
Boring trade week ahead

You need a hobby to distract you whilst this thing plays out, it's not meant to be entertaining, it's like watching grass growZed wrote:This FA period goes on for too long. The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
Re: Boring trade week ahead
that's why it's so impressive that Saints traded early.
The earlier you trade the more you know before making the next trade (as opposed to have 5 hypotheticals on the table)
