This kid is the most exciting young player I have seen since rooey played under blight. Marks very well for his size, his left foot is amazing and yet his right is more then serviceable. Knows where to position himself to take advantage of the hard ball get and will kick ALOT of goals. Can't wait for next sunday to see him live. So so so excited.

BTW dunstan and acres are very exciting also and our talls are going in the right direction. I saw signs from sippa and Stanley as a combo going forward.

Most exciting part of the night tonight for mine was when billings took a mark on the wing in the last, had a player open but would have to kick on his right. In the context of a game where the likes of gibbs, riewoldt, simpson all struggled on their non preferred he took the tougher road, hit him up without the player missing a step and it resulted in a shot at goal.

Think once Acres gets the pace of the game he will be outstanding,he wanted to be in the game tonight and hard at the tackle. Jack was pretty ordinary in his preseason games and round 1 game,but now he has got the pace he belongs. Dunstan will be a warrior,Lenny should give him his jumper when he hangs them up

He's got this great spring in marking contests that catches opponents of guards. I liked seeming him played on the ball tonight for a bit. He was a little fumbly but you could see he knows how to get to the heart of the action and has the creativity to make things happen. My warning would be he might be a little like Rioli where he will have a great first year and then maybe his development will flatten out for a couple of seasons and everyone starts criticising him for being too flashy and not doing the hard consistent work. He needs a fair amount of time and games to get to elite level just like everyone else no matter what he's showing now.

Not sure the Rioli analogy is accurate.

Rioli is classed a flashy player because of his electric acceleration and bag of tricks. Although Billings also has his tricks, his class comes from his doing the standard things almost perfectly. Timing his leads, holding onto his marks, hitting his targets on both feet — he is just the complete footballer. He also isn't particularly fast.

I hope he ends up better than Rioli, who in my mind is the second most overrated player in the AFL
He has never put a series of good games together, never touched the footy enough to be classed anything above a dangerous small fwd...

Dunstan a solid footballer !!?? The kid is already an integral and IMPORTANT part of an AFL midfield half a dozen games into his first season at age 18.

for me watching from TV and the one game in perth ..

Dunstan reminds me of a young Chris Judd in the way he prepares for the game and the way he is just so damn eager to get in and make an impact i would have to say i havent seen a better first 4 games then Dunstans first four

Billings to me looks like the type of kid who has always been the best player in his team as a junior so early on i think he kinda waited for it to happen but now after being coached by AFL coaches and having the senior guys mentoring him i think he is really hitting his straps and his natural ability is being matched by his hunger for the ball .. i reckon he ill just get better and better

Acres i think doesnt have the natural skills of Billings but he is a warrior for the contest i can see him fast becoming a favorite
