Membership Multiple Choice Question Indecision

Post: # 1517969Post Sainternist »

"Please select which fulfilment item you would prefer to receive in your 2015 membership pack:

a) 2015 Saints Cap

or

b) Saints Player Encyclopedia

or

c) Member Only Scarf"

I can forget about choosing the cap. None of the previous caps fit my big 7 3/4 hat size noggin.

At this stage, I'm leaning towards towards the Player Encyclopedia, but I don't know how good it is?

If the Player Encyclopedia is just going to take up space on one of my bookshelves and isn't even worthy of being a coffee table book, then a scarf is the practical option.

Your feedback is invaluable. Thanks in advance.

Apparently the player encyclopedia is a pocket size book according to BF. Hope this helps.

Given a scarf costs about 2 bucks a unit to make I assume a similar sum goes towards Enclyopedia St.Kilda

Thanks for the above comments. The Player Encyclopedia sounds a little disappointing. I opted for the scarf instead.

Can confirm the Encyclopedia is very pocket sized. Got my pack last week.

There are some good write ups for more recent players, but there's more than a few that give a name, a time period, and numbers of games and goals and that's it.

Good to hear they are mailing out the membership packs so promptly. I seem to recall waiting weeks (if not months) in recent years.

Got the Encyclopedia - it's a very good Holmesby-Main production, but as it says on the back -
"All biographies in the volume are from The Encyclopedia of AFL Footballers".
Mostly, the players given the least space are the ones who've played the least games.

Well at the end of the day the club is trying to make money.

Low cost add ons would appear a better option than high cost ones.
