Mug punters list review

Post: # 1634430Post older saint »

From a mug in the crowd here's my take on the list, broke it into categories based on my pre season thoughts on players and where i think they started :

Improved above expectation:

Acres, Hickey, Steven, Ross, Geary, Gresham, Membrey, Wright, McCartin, McKenzie,Weller, Roo ( as a wing man), Minchington

Improved as expected (steady as she goes):

Dunstan, Newness, Roberton, Lonie, Sinclair, Savage,Billings,Webster, Pierce,

Maintained standards:

Dempster, Montagna, Gilbert, Arnmitage, Bruce,Murdoch,

Below expectations:
Lee, Delaeny, Templeton, Curren, Shenton,

Injured or unseen:

Longer, Rice, White,Freeman, Goddard,

Plenty of improvement players see this list climb-time to move on the below expectation players and go from there.
Thoughts everyone?

Reasonable overview but I would think We have seen White make a promising debut yesterday for starters !

You have to be taking this piss about Shenton he has been good as!

as for Lee he has been solid, so disagree with those two and even Templeton has been solid so 3.

Not at all, not talking about Sandringham, where they have been great, but AFL level.

Lee was not able to hold down spot in an undersized backline. Shenton and Templeton could not get into a Senior side (Templeton may have played a couple games). Surely I would hope they would not be satisfied with their years at AFL level.

Only one can lay claim to that and that is Templeton, the others we've seen more than enough of to suggest they are not part of our future
