Team next week?

Post: # 1657822Post stkmo »

Thoughts?

Would love to see Ben Long make his debut. I'd throw Acres on the ball from the get go and leave him there but not too sure if we're a little too slow in the middle?

Oh FFS, just shut the hell up, he had 16 disposals at 87% efficiency this week and he went at 81% in Rd 1

Kicked Out on Full under no pressure when the receiver was 40 in the clear.
1st Qtr, 15:41 remaining.
Useless.

I don't think anything has been confirmed but looked to hyperextend his knee late in the last QTR.

May pull up a little sore.

My thoughts rhyme with clucking bell. Et tu, Joey? The injury fairy that blessed us last year is looking for revenge.

Re the comment on Gilbert

He gives good run and his efficiency is as quoted

If you wish to comment on Gilbert where is the comment on Savage who is in the side because of his disposal and Geary who gives no run and no disposal efficiency from defence?

Instead of favourites look at contribution

In regards requirements every player has to go when it is their turn and EVERY player must be able to gain yards with ball in hand, both by run and kicking depth

We have some in our defence who are not contributing both ways and need to start turning players to address this deficiency

Dont forget his 7 tackles, and the other things he did that don't show up in stats, defensive pressure, tap ons, fists to the ball, he's the inspector gadget of footy. Thrives in the high pressure stuff and always applies that to his opponent, there's a reason he's selected.

Rooey takes 12 marks each game, is inspirational.
Lifts his team.
Gilbo is INSIPID and deflates the team.
I invite you to spot the difference.

He's like a black and gold block of chocolate. It's chocolate, just not as we know it. Promising before you bite into it, then disappointing as it disintegrates into a powdery mess in your mouth. He's been good, the last time in the 2010 GF. Should've traded him at the end of the Lyon era when we could've got a bit more than GT's can of coke and a Mars bar.

Gilbert sort of cancels out his effect on a game- gets the ball well, then turns it over far too much, or just sprays kicks or handballs to none in particular. Might as well not get the ball in the first place!

+100.
If fans celebrate and honour the battlers, we'll have nobody with skill, just a team of guys who run hard but can't do a thing with the ball when they get it.

Rubbish, his efficiency this year is around 70-75%, also named in best players by those that matter, vent all you like though!!!!!

Thank heavens we have people picking the team that know something about football and have half a brain.
This can't be said for many of the posters on this site.
