And Membry. I thought I would never see a worse shot at goal than Bruce last year but WTF. Terrible tonight.

I'll be the first to put my hand up and say Jack isn't "hard", but he never was. He was picked to be some icing. His goalkicking is not working, I admit that also. But I don't think our game affords him the opportunity to be the player he was drafted to be.

He looks so disinterested it isn't funny. We may get something for him, but the club that allows him to play his natural game, and supports it, will be the winner.

I know we have an oversupply of half back flankers and back pockets BUT
Billings needs to sent into the back line.
He will learn desperation
If he does not run down his opponent then he will be exposed each time as the guy letting the team down.
If he continues to be sloppy in his disposal then as the ball comes straight back he will have to clean up his own mess.
And his inability to kick straight for goal will not dishearten the rest of team who have been working so hard to give the chances.

The kid has talent to burn but no confidence. Its up to the coaches to support him. Run him off half back? Play him in the center? Give him a run with role? Let him play on the wing supporting the defence? Give him a challenge and purpose. We need him to develop into the player he can be.
