If you think Richmond were the worst club on the field for 35 years, you weren’t watching much footy over that time. They also didn’t really tank all that much, just made the right decisions with some key positions at the right time and showed patience with their talent, which is the opposite of what you are suggesting.

Preface to comments: I watched the SA vs Allies match on TV yesterday - it is the first time I have seen Lukosious play.

Good in the first quarter, disappeared in the second when the Allies made a run. Got a few kicks at the start of the third and then when quiet again.

Left with the disturbing impression that he reminded me of Jack Watts. Was laid back at times with his passing to teammates.

you are just clueless. McCartin leads up plenty and in a good side he would be hit on those leads, we constantly miss him on the lead or ignore him and kick to the contest 20 metres out from goal. Anyhoo , if you land pick 1 no one chooses before you, your trade up options are wide open in a very strong draft
It’s an important position to hold at draft time and suggestions that’s not the case are rubbish
