There's tanking (trying to lose) and then picking a side that doesn't really give you a meaningful chance to win.

From mid-season - all I've wanted was to see our kids get as many games into them as possible. Instead, we've had The Dribbler constantly select Newnes, Weller, Gilbert and Lonie. Even last weekend he chose to play Newnes over Freeman and Gilbert over White. I mean FFS - he hasn't been trying to improve his lot all year by blooding a few kids so, in the end we've ended up with another wasted year of non-development.

If he's trying to limit the damage against North - he'll probably revert to type and pick the plonkers again. Or he might just play all the kids and let them free.

Sadly doing the former will probably guarantee pick 4

Bring in all the kids Coffield, Clark, Phillips and Freeman in and let them finish off the year in the ones.

We’ve seen enough of likes of Gilbert, Newnes, Armitage and Geary will probably miss with concussion.
