Wow. They must be struggling.

Blues are obviously looking to see if he is worth retaining on their list.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Well done to him.

Wonder if he’s any worse than Logan Austin, Jon Marsh or Darragh Joyce?
Clavarino is still a raw kid.

Was he delisted because his body was no good, or did they not rate him??

He was going to be our defensive pillar for a decade

Pretty sure we gave up Rhys Stanley for Goddard, not such a flash deal in hindsight.

Geez, makes you want to vomit doesn’t it?

So many stupid decisions we made.

Again, when we got Goddard with pick 21 I think we thought we had a steal - he was rated pick 1 but then got injured!!

Let’s hope Bytel doesn’t turn out the same - but it’s a similar type story!

I've got a really good idea......lets stop recruiting injury 'projects' and just concentrate on recruiting healthy people, with a preference for players with good football skills.....just a thought....

I liked Goddard when he played early on. Took me years to like B Goddard, so maybe he is a slow burn.

Good Luck to him.

He has been doing very well in their magoos.

I vaguely remember our recruiters celebrating after he "slipped to us" at pick 21. :|

Would have been a very good player if he didn't suffer that injury. Lost his pace and spring.

But maybe not. Leads the VFL in marks taken.

https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-07-11/ ... lues-debut

"Goddard, 22, has averaged 16.5 disposals per game with the Northern Blues this season, while he leads the VFL for marks.

He was initially recruited to St Kilda with pick No.21 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, before being delisted at the end of last season. He was later selected by Carlton with the first pick in the NAB AFL Rookie Draft."
