a top administrator from the AFL, fallen from grace, but given a lifeline to prove his mettle by implementing whatever skillset he has that gave him the top job in the first place at City Hall on a struggling 3rd tier club. Should be a walk in the park for some of Lethlean's calibre

well it hasnt been all beer and skittles and I would damn well hope he shows some of the attributes that a senior AFL administrator should have in his kit bag to get the job done. bulls*** and bluster aint gonna cut it at the coal face, so you'd reckon he would indeed be desperate to make a success of this exercise / project he finds himself in control of. He knows full well that the glory will be all his if he succeeds and how that would appear on his CV, the world will be his oyster

The sooner he does it, the sooner he moves on, which is ultimately what he wants to do - destined for bigger things

I would walk away from football if we were to fail and he ended up with a plum job back amongst his mates where accountablity means little

Apparently a link through marriage, the strength of which could be argued if true. Knowing Xavs though, very much depends on the father of the bride.

A good mate of mine was in year 12 at St Kevins when the Scotts were in year 10, they ran the yard. No year 11 or 12 would stand up to them. Would have hated to play against them as a schoolboy.

Lethlean was assisting Richo in the coaches box & also on field at 1/4 & 3/4 time breaks with among others things working the Board for the placement of players
I would assume he is doing the same thing with Ratts.

Lethlean was a multiple premiership player & multiple premiership coach in A grade amateurs. A footy administrator who loves to work at the coal face with the players & coaches.

Exactly. Scott and Lethlean are just mates. There’s no Xavier connection at all. It’s just dickheads who read too much rubbish in the Herald Sun who put 2 and 2 together and then come up with 5 that perpetuate the Xavier myth.
