Re: Fox Footy in Perth

Lucky you are not in Adelaide.
I have heard that they are so far behind in South Australia that they have finally reached the mid 60’s,
and for the first time the 1966 Grand Final will be on TV.

For those in Adelaide, I will not spoil it, by telling you the result.

Milney the Auctioneer!

Stephen Milne helped raise $2,100 for the Lakes Entrance Saints Supporter Group while the Club was in the area for their Australia Post Community Camp.

Watch as Milney took control of the mic and started a bidding frenzy!

Re: Siposs article in the Age

How can you get sick of reading about youth with talent that is being trained by the great Hammer, Con? Just like many here, it was once my dream to put on the red, white & black and kick goals for the Sainters. The only thing I have in common with Arryn is that we both have that framed print of...

Re: Saints assistant Coaches over the journey

28/01/2004 St Kilda received a major blow yesterday when the club lost new assistant coach Craig Bradley. The former Carlton star told the Saints he could not take up his job as a part-time assistant to coach Grant Thomas because of business commitments. More in the link http://www.theage.com.au/art...

They spoke of a transition period.

Nick said……….
“Ideally in 12 months time, my name won’t be up the top”.

Looks like 2012 will be Rooey’s last year as Captain.

Re: Watters on 6pr

Two interesting answers.

Would not make a player captain just to keep him at the club. re BJ.

asked if he has the same coaching resources as his previous club......he said......he is happy with the new coaches....we are not in an arms race.

The ignore button is amusing. If you put someone on iggy, and they say something radical.
Guess what?
Another poster will quote the ignored post  .
No ignoring that!

My first game was at Moorabbin, in 1968. I don’t remember much about it. I do remember we were at the South Road end amongst opposition supporters. Entry fee for a child would have been 5 cents or less. There were no seats in the outer, as it was then called. The only seats at Moorabbin were in th...

50 years should give you life membership. I clocked up 41 last year, although I did not attend any games due to bad health. This year I have not renewed as I am using the money for Foxtel. As I am not currently working due to illness, I cannot afford both. If there was a carrot of life membership af...

All they said is that it was a knee injury. They did not go into great detail back then, but that may be partly due to their lack of expertise in those times and the intense media coverage is not quite what it is today.
