Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 13 2018
Dave clearly isn’t in the future of St Kilda but seeing as he has been there since 2006 and continues to turn up every week thinking he will play and praying he will play, to bag him out like many other keyboard supporters is pathetic. When you know what it is like to be physically bruised and batt...

Re: Top 5 pick...what to do with it
No more 2 for 1s please! It is well known and often commented that we don't have any A grade talent. We don't need any more "good players", we have heaps of those. We need stars who can drag the team out of a hole on their own. I'm sure Clarke and Coff are shaping up to be really good play...

Re: Team vs Tigers
Lonie kicked 2 of our ten goals last week and setup at least one other that I can remember. We need players who know how to kick goals.

Re: Saints fastest and best runners
No real suprises there I guess in total km's. Bloody hell, Phillip's is such a good runner so its no wonder he gets plenty of footy like his brother. Great late selection by the club. Webster and Steele the speed kings also!! I love these stats. Team distance: 2540.3km Distance kings 1. Jarryn Gear...

Re: Phillips reminds me of....
While he's a similar size to Gram I'm not sure I agree with the comparison. Gram was a lightning quick, explosive half back/wingman with a long but errant kick. Phillips seems like a neat, composed outside mid who will accumulate possessions without doing anything too notable with them. I'd say he'...

Re: Terry Wallace on Richo and the list
What Terry says does sound right to me. I think we were unlucky with last years draft. We had two picks in the top ten, but it would seem there is a fair gap in class between the pick before hours, Jayden Stevenson and our two recruits in Clarke and Coffield. Our players will be good players, but t...

Re: Terry Wallace on Richo and the list
I copped a lot of crap from people from this website last year for saying we were stupid for picking so many half back flankers and that we should have gone after mids, so much crap. Some even justified the selection by putting photos of the u/18 all aus team showing that we had 3 of the best playe...

I agree he probably wouldn't be interested in us. But I really think he could help with the bombing it long issue. He leads up high and is a really good kick.

Re: Terry Wallace on Richo and the list
bulls***. It's not drafting, its development. All our players can't be s***, it does not make any sense. Its 100% development. Look at Wright, started well, now the coach barely gives him a go. When he does, he gets 1 senior game and gets put back to the reserves. Tom Lynch anyone? But lets all bla...

Lynch looks at homes in Melbourne as contract talks loom with Crows
Wouldn't this be nice? I can't see it happening to us though. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/lynch-looks-at-homes-in-melbourne-as-contract-talks-loom-with-crows-20180522-p4zgtv.html Adelaide’s quest to keep hold of dynamic forward Tom Lynch will intensify this week when the club meets his manag...

Does anyone know who that Saint supporter was that took a selfie with that neanderthal Corfe ? I am still cringing. Aren't things embarrassing enough ???? “That Saint supporter” is an example to ALL of us in how to conduct ourselves as “supporters”. Good on him! Certainly better than throwing punch...

Re: Changes v Tigers
It seems to me like selection should be easy this week, as an obvious balanced side presents itself, but I'm sure the match committee will find a way to baffle us all yet again. Out : Brown (inj), Armitage, Weller, Billings In : Carlisle, Austin, McCartin, White We are simply too short, both forwar...

Re: Milney in today's Age
Milney was great and wouldn’t we love to have him in now, but let’s not forget he was a very unreliable set shot for goal and had little distance in his kicks. We need a combination of a Peter Hudson who got Stevie Lowe to kick serviceably , a sport scientist or movement buff for the mechanics ( al...

I would like to know what I'm buying first. The current regime isn't working, but how do we know the new one will be any better?
I like the idea of an external review to determine where exactly the problems lie.

Re: 2019 Leadersip Goddard the steps!
I've been thinking about getting BJ back also. Even if he only has a few years left, we have a leadership black hole left by Rooey and Joey. The young players aren't ready to step up yet. You see the issues BJ is having at Essendon and I think, we need that. We need someone on field to hold the play...

I really couldn't see it with Long last year. Hardly touched the ball and when he did would either get caught or turn it over. ...

Re: Sellers gives an explanation for our woes
Very concerning indeed. I like Richo and want him to succeed, but how can he not realise that his plan isn't working? He keeps blaming the players, "many out of form", but it's so clearly obviously to everyone outside, and I know nothing about football.
