I don’t have an issue with him to be honest. I think he umpires our games no differently than any others.
But, I agree to an extent. The AFL should keep him away from saints games. Should be the same for any ex players to avoid unnecessary scrutiny.

The way I looked at yesterday's game is, our goal kicking let us down early and we should have had a 5 goal plus lead at 1/2 time. The longer the Roo's were in the game the more Clarkson dropped players behind the ball and made it bloody ugly. We should have been better looking for better inside 50 ...

i don't think it's a coincidence that Crouch's output has dipped since Steele has come back in.
He is spending less time in the Centre bounces which is his bread and butter.

Crazy to think that someone who is coming off a lengthy injury and being asked to play a role he isn’t suited to, is out of form. He will be back when he is able to move away from FF and play on guys that don’t monster him.

Although skills mainly because we looked slow and tired. Resorted to bombing into the forward line, which I put down to not being fresh after a five day break.
