Actually I am pretty sure we have only had 38 coaches.
Though a few had multiple stints.

Back in 66 it was just footy, no trumped up has been rock bands etc. But the best thing was that Collingwood lost three games in a row that day!!! Yes three games. The grand finals for the under 19s, the reserves and seniors were all played on the same day at the G. I was a young tacker then and my ...

I have stood for 2 GFs now (66 & 2009) - somewhat different experiences! 66 was in the old Outer - which was then replaced by the Ponsford Stand, which has since been replaced (makes me feel old!!). Some suggestions for this year's standers (I wish I was with you, I have not been able to get any...

Missed out - sat on the net at 1.00pm, loaded the two bar codes in, then sat there for ages hitting the "continue" button but getting the message that basically means that the service was overloaded. Had to go to a meeting (bloody work getting in the wat of GF tickets). Came back and tried...

Please put me on the list as well. This is a desparate plea for tickets for the GF! Standing Room or Restricted view will do! I stuffed up with the Sept Saints (basically, I did not recieve any of the emails about it this year because the club had the wrong email address) I only found out after the ...

Standing tickets - Social Club/Sept Saints

This is a desparate plea for tickets for the GF! I stuffed up with the Sept Saints (basically, I did not recieve any of the emails about it this year because the club had the wrong email address) I only found out after the cut off date when all memberships had been registered. Last year, as Se...

I reckon its a job for Milney - he can yap away at BBB until he cracks (again). Should only take a quarter of so. Then poor Bazza can go back to the retirement home.

Completed my registration as a "September Saint" - all seems OK. It would be interesting to know how many SC registrations were made and how many Sept Saints there are in the ballot for the balance of the ticket allocation. In the meantime, I'm counting down the days to the Prelim and the ...

My office looks across towards the G. At the moment (2.11 pm ) there is a helicopter doing laps around the G - I can't tell from this distance if it is TV or Collingwood - probably both (Chanel Eddie). Nice to see that someone takes us that seriously that they need to spy on training from the air!!!...

You must be kidding - no shame no embarassment Yeah sure a bit of ribbing. Tends to go quite when you ask back what the result has done to our position on the ladder and how low can we finish at round 22. I also fire back that we were just joining the tanking game. tried it against the Hawks but fai...

It is also interesting to look at the Scoring Analysis ("worm" chart) on the AFL Match Day site.

Look at the patterns of the St Kilda games vrs the other games of each round & you can see the effect of our pressure.

Let's just keep it slightly ajar at the moment. The "home and away" looks pretty secure (!!) but we cannot become complacent. We are not in the GF until we win a prelim & we still have to make the prelim. Nothing else matters if we don't get to the GF and then win tha game - this means...

Age Poll - Prelim StKilda v Hawthorn - vote now

The Age Real Footy site has a poll for predicting the winner of the Prelim between St Kilda and Hawthorn. http://www.realfooty.com.au/ Pretty meaningless really but might as well stack some numbers. Vote early & vote often (you may need to scoot around the office etc and jump onto other peoples ...

1966 - I was 11. Much of 65 & 66 is a faded memory but there are a number of things that stand out. We lived in Murrumbeena. My father took me along to St Kilda games. I think that the move to Moorabbin meant that we started to go to more games - I only have vague memories of Junction Oval. 65 w...
