Buck stops with the coach as simple as that.. Even if we go out and beat carlton next week it all means nothing with performances like this today.. Even more disappointing than the west coast game as it now is obvious it wasn't a one off

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows

Hard not to question Richo after another demoralising loss, performances like this really question the amount of development we have actually made under Richo

Yep.. worse than an ACL, very hard injury to rehab and will be out for 12 months regardless if its ruptured.

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows

Too many terrible things to mention in this one... hope we can keep it under 100pts. omg Goddard bad bad bad. hope it's not season ending. Our bakline is still so dependent on Fisher : ( Hard to call it a backline really, bordering on VFL standard, shame for Goddard but he was getting torn a new on...

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows

ACL for Goddard unfortunately it seems. As good as a mark McCartin is his kicking for goal at the moment is awful. Not much good taking big marks then not converting Quick diagnosis? When you change direction like that and the knee gives way it can only be one thing. Hope i'm wrong but looks very l...

Re: Match day thread - Saints v Crows

Just pathetic, last 2 weeks count for absolutely nothing when we serve this disgusting sh*t up interstate. Goddard has been absolutely horrible, not up to it at the moment why he is playing is beyond me. Questions need to be asked after this sh*tful performance

Re: A moment on Nick Riewoldt

So many greats of the club have not lifted the cup. Nothing would make me happier than seeing this man do it, he is playing ageless football and perhaps is even in the best form of his career. Would be one of the greatest moments the game has seen if he can hang on and play in one. The club is movin...

Not quite sure how Lee gets dropped and Gilbert is still getting a game? Gilbert turned it over constantly and Lee needs consecutive games to gain confidence, must be shattering for him

Re: THE eternal stkilda problem of poor disposals

Skills today were at VFL standard, almost hard to watch at times. We are really lacking a silky skilled midfielder who can use it properly

Thought he was actually pretty good today, probably the best of our defenders. I think he will make it as a key defender for us.

A win for the ages, great great stuff considering we finished with one on the bench. Makes it even sweeter beating the filth and seeing figjam all pissed in the box.
Young mids were terrific today, Ross, Dunstan, Billings. Cannot underestimate how important Weller was in that third quarter too

McCartin instead of Petracca. Lonie instead of Caleb Daniels. Acres instead of Hartung. Not looking great for our recruiters tonight. Not too worried about these picks, the trading of pick 5 for Carlisle and 14 doesn't look great at the moment. Watched Parish today and he looks like he is going to ...

Re: McCartin - The biggest recruiting disaster of all time

McCartin had an awful awful game, looked slow and really sloppy, felt sorry for him at times he looked like he had zero confidence. The hard thing for him is the gap between the VFL and AFL is huge and when he makes that jump to the senior side he is out of his depth at the moment, the no.1 draft ta...

Re: A Club to be Proud of.

This does represent an opportunity to help a young man turn around his image and quite possibly his life. I have a very strong feeling that this incident is the rocket Carlisle needed and out of all this mess the saints can be seen as a club which provides a positive environment with good culture an...

Re: We Must Now Sack Jake Carlisle

It is incredible this comes out the night he is traded. What's the chances someone at Essendon has something to do with this? Any logical person should see this as it happening on essendons watch really. Had this video come out 24 hours earlier he wouldn't be a st kilda player. Can't see any benefit...

Re: The Bombers Are Bottom Feeders

I think the arrogant way that Dodoro went about it yesterday really pissed me off the most. It is one thing to try and get the best deal for your club, it is another to actively go and seek a deal with another club after the player has already stated his desired club then to go and gloat about in on...

The whole Carlisle thing has made me wonder, why haven't we got this deal done by now? Seems as if we are happy to part with a second round pick and the pies are happy with this? Am I missing something? Seems odd that there seems to be little progress in this trade as yet?

You would think that after everything essendon has put their players through they would be gracious enough to at least honour the wishes of one of the players affected. Yet that arrogant prick Dodoro comes on radio basically gloating about now orchestrating a deal with the hawks. I can't remember an...

Re: Delistings

Strange de-listings... I would of kept Sipposs over Saad. Lets face it, he won't make it unless he finds his form when he first stated his AFL career. I would of also kept Markworth over Shenton. I also don't rate Minchinton at all. I'm 50/50 with Geary, his puts in 100% every time, but turnover me...

Re: Jake Carlisle

Have a feeling Seb Ross will be involved if any trade is to take place, isn't he the cousin of Jobe? I would think Seb + 2nd round pick may be enough to do the deal? With any other club may happen but essendon are the worst to deal with come trade time. Didn't they want some ridiculous trade last ye...
