Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread or another the possibility of North trading their pick 8 for our 17 in the Dal trade as they could use the 17 as a first rounder to still secure the father son pick. Have we clarified if this is possible?

Re: Khan Haretuku?

Manoffewwords, If the swans were thinking of drafting him at the end of last season then he must have some commodity. David Reece Jones said he was best on ground in last years Victorian VFL side. Once again I'll say that at 22-23 he still has a lot of upside to him. He will never be another Jonath...

Re: Khan Haretuku?

Laughable that he wouldn't come back to saints. If saints wanted him back he'd be back here in a heartbeat. I agree it's laughable but that's what he said. He was given the opportunity to,play the last few Vfl games with frankston firsts as it might put him in front of the afl talent scouts or play...

Re: Khan Haretuku?

Had a good year.

Was talk of him being re drafted again, not by us as he said he wouldn't go back to the saints.

Having said that his attitude is still soft, when given the choice takes the easy option. Pity, he could be a good prospect for someone.

Re: Has Ledger already committed elsewhere???

From team mates mouths," Tom needs to stop stuffing around at training and take it seriously. "

That was 12 months ago though, maybe his slack attitude just pissed the coaches off as well as his team mates.

Re: Shenton

Not so long ago this guy was seen as no chance at all. His improvement this year has surprised a few who had written him off. I doubt that he will get a promotion but I also believe he is being looked at through new eyes.

Re: Spencer White

I,ve seen Spencer play only three times at Sandy this year and felt the same as others that he is a a fair way off, assistants at the saints are regularly stating just that and refer to him as pretty raw. I did however have an interesting discussion with a coach in the system today who had an intere...

Re: Spencer White /Aaron Siposs/Jimmy Webster

I spoke to a coach in the AFL system this week, his mail from a Stkilda assistant is that White "has a hell of a lot to learn".

On the other hand he also said he looks like an amazing prospect!

Re: Round 16 Team

Ledgers team mates say he stuffs around at training and doesn't take drills seriously. That was about six or seven weeks ago. Obviously hasn't improved or is being taught a hard lesson

Re: Breaking news ... Stanley 4-6 weeks

Went to a physio last night with a calf injury,"old Mans Injury" and I asked if it was a tear or a strain he said a strain was in fact still torn fibres so there was little difference except for the amount of fibres ripped, that relates to the grade of the injury. He used to work for Melbo...

Re: Spin the Dice: Make Ledger sub

I agree with your take plugger however I spent some time with two players recently and when I asked the question I was told it was attitude. One of the players is fairly young and new and was very forthcoming with his observations and opinions, too early to have been trained to keep his mouth shut I...

Polo v magner

Not sure of their physical stats but it seems polo and manger might be similar players. We had magner right under our nose and let him go maybe because of his disposal and decision making. We kept polo. Did we keep the right one? Or are they both just ordinary players and it doesn't matter. Saw magn...

Re: Newnes v Ledger

Attitude issues, some think he is not always giving 100% all of the time, stuffing around during drills and generally not taking things seriously enough. only minor stuff but I got the feeling its why he's currently being left out. My Mail was that Wilkes is a cert. But I guess weather might come in...

Re: Newnes v Ledger

Also heard that Wilkes is a cert this weekend but i guess thats pretty ...

250% more than any other quote.

Happy that he is back at the club though we need to know how to stitch em up.
