Re: Disappointed in the club

Not only does an emplyee ask to leave, but he is also wants to go to a major competitor. what other workplace will accomodate such a move? Err, pretty much every one I know of. Some particularly sensitive work might get non-compete clauses, but I'm not sure how they fly in this country. It's not li...

Actually, players not getting to the club they want will pave the way to free agency faster than anything.

Yep, he wouldn't have missed those goals in the second.

The reason the Saints lost lies forward of the center line. Can't win a game going goalless in the last.

Re: Very annoyed...

Me and the group of people that I go to the footy with (Dad, Uncle, his family) are all Foundation Social Club members. And we have been since 1996. Additionally, we have held Gold reserved seat @ Docklands ever since we started playing there. Our reward? Standing room. All the Johnny-come-lately's...

Pretty solid all night except for that brain fade in the last qrt - what in the hell was he thinking. He does that a lot. It's just that not everyone's on the same page as him yet, which should come in time. If he'd taken possession and missed the flick back (likely in the circumstance) it'd just b...

Did once have a day out in the VFL, any one know how many he kicked? Kicked 7 for Box Hill ...I think Eight, but it was against Bendigo at a time when they were fielding any old local due to injuries. Don't read too much into it. Can be handy swinging forward, but I wouldn't want to build a structu...

Zac had a good record on Fev when at the Hawks, at least in the NAB cup, never conceding more than two. He's a pretty good match on the lead with good closing speed and long arms for the spoil although he'll probably need help if it's dropped on his head. You guys have been all over that this year, ...

There's an order of magnitude more who are waiting for him to fall over. Having him succeed in any fashion would call into question their football judgement.

he played forward for all of last year in the reserves so it's hardly karma...maybe they thought he had potential there instead of down back where he tried and it didnt come off, regardless of age and size they might have believed it to be a non-factor in comparison to footy smarts etc Really? You ...

Clearly an inspired pick and Dawson is AFL quality. Would guarentee that if he was still at the hawks would have played nearly all if not all games this year with the loss of Gilham Birchall and Croad (way better than Murphy for example). Zac's last few years with us were notable for the fact that ...

Hawks wouldn't mind him at the moment. I wonder whether they were trying to sneak him onto the rookie list. Nah. Our coach prefers ball users down back as opposed to pure stoppers. Zac's not the best with the ball in hand and that doomed him here. Personally, I'd have kept him as events have conspi...
