Each week, despite their limited chances of being picked, we've seen footage of the likes of Max and Goose and Gwilty and Geary and Armo and the rest laughing and smiling and putting in on the track, doing their bit for team success. No bitching, no whining, no snide Lloyd-like whispers of disgruntlement, just a collective willingness to finish what the entire squad started.

If we achieve the ultimate accolade on Saturday afternoon - and I believe we will - it is a club success. The 22 that achieve it are just the tip of a mighty iceberg.
