Re: The Official "Stop bagging Billings" Thread.

What's incredible is that he actually missed two sitters in the last as well!

McKenzie

Watching on TV, it was evident that he is a really good all rounder. Surprisingly strong on the inside and in one-on-one situations and clean in the handball and pass. Not a stellar game but extremely promising for an 18yo in his 2nd game.

Re: A theory on Longer

Everyone is presuming that the sub rule will be scrapped next year. Which will mean a return to the days of 4 on the interchange bench. That will mean that some clubs will play two Rickman - like we used to do with Gardiner and King rotating. So that might mean that Longer and Hickey will get more ...

Re: poor recruiting?

I don't mind that we chose McCartin, we really needed a quality tall forward and I believe that's what he will become, however we really needed a strong bonafide midfielder like Angus Brayshaw. He's strongly build kid that's only gonna get stronger and he loves the contested stuff. I jus hope we so...

Re: Name your Picks. 1, 21, 22 and 41 + rookie

Caleb will be the steal of this draft IMO. Like Monty. B4 him... Dont let the size fool u, he can play Joey is 4.5 inches taller than Caleb. Brent Harvey is literally the only modern-day comparison, maybe add Libba if you want to go back a bit further. The kid might make it, I hope he does, but it ...

Personal bests at a time trial on the first week back at training. Very impressive. Good bit of spin put out by the club too.

Re: Whats the deal with Siposs?

Not enough endurance. Not quick. Doesn't read the ball in the air all that well.

He's a big, booming kick, but not a particularly perceptive passer.

He's a very ordinary AFL footballer. He'll be delisted at the end of 2015.

Re: Boyd requests trade to Bulldogs - How did we miss this??

shesh no way would i do a straight swap. gws lose big time imo would have to have something added like a low pick Not so sure... Griffen's an established elite player... Boyd not shown anything at the top level... yet... Whilst there are plenty of early draft pick Talls who have made an impact (Rie...

Re: Boyd requests trade to Bulldogs - How did we miss this??

How did we miss this opportunity??? We bent over backwards to get him (thru Pick 1) last year, how could we not be on the pulse?? Because maybe he didn't want to come to St Kilda. You think he has some special connection to WB? You think WB have a more attractive product to sell without a coach, di...

Re: Boyd requests trade to Bulldogs - How did we miss this??

We should have been at the front of the queue for Boyd. We should have been communicating with his management for months. If the Dogs can trade Griffen for Boyd, it's the deal of the decade for them. Good as Petracca will be, elite big men are virtually impossible to find. I'd be offering Boyd a fi...

Re: GWS to get pick 1

At a guess I would suggest the following as possibilities...

#1 to GWS for #4, #21 and Jaksch
Then #4 to Gold Coast for #8 and #15

Would leave us with #8, #15, #21 and Jaksch for #1
