Re: It's time to have a crack. Where will we finish 2012 ??

I think if we have an injury free year like 2010 we can still challange. injury free? riewoldt, our captain, tore his hamstring off the bone, he barely made it back right for finals. Fair point. Forgot about that. But thinking about it, he probably had more influence in his few games in 2010 than h...

Re: Harvs on 3AW

Did anyone else hear the interview by Gerald Healy and Beaver with Banger on 3AW this evening, If you didnt hear it do yourself a favour and listen to it when it comes on line. Was about 6.45pm. You will never doubt the great mans love and respect for the Saints. Will one day return. I heard Gerard...

Hopefully he can play off half-back, using his nice foot skills, and release Goddard to roam further up the ground... Has anyone actually seen his "nice foot skills" yet. He's done OK and kicked a few goals but I don't think his kicking skills have been his highlight. Unless you count dri...

Anyone else noticed Milera's reported weight has gone from 71kg (Saints' web site) to 78kg (this article)? That's a bit of beefing-up in a short space of time! Reminds me of the Summer where Kosi grew 5 cm's when he was 21 years of age - surely that one defied the laws of biology! Too many pies :sh...

I remember seeing Jarrahh tear west coast apart in one game he has a lot of skill give it time he will be a real good player "One Game" being the point. 3 out of every 4 games I see him play are below average. Not saying he can't be good, there are plenty of kids running arounf the AFL wi...

I agree that he was a wonderful bloke. But don't forget that we picked up Ball at 2 and X at 5 in that years draft. Not trying to put a dampner on the thread, but what a disaster. Hope personally he has a great future in what ever he decides to do. His personality will take him places. Sadly it wont...

Given how well Jurrah has done - someone may take a punt before 25. Has Jurrah really done much apart from one mark. Hope he gets better, but I think at the moment he is hugely overated. Doesn't try hard enough and goes missing most games IMO. Would like to see him prove me wrong as he has talent a...

It's time to have a crack. Where will we finish 2012 ??

I think if we have an injury free year like 2010 we can still challange. 2 kids like Cripps and Ledger making an impact would help.

Show some Balls now, and have crack. Where are e going to finish in 2012.

Does anyone agree, or have I been drinking too much???

It's not luck at all. We simply weren't good enough. In 2009 we missed shorts for goal that would have won us the grand final. Geelong didn't. We lost that because our skills weren't good enough when it countered under pressure. In 2010, yeh you can blame the bounce, but don't give a team a 4 goal ...
