Re: Welcome Michito and Windy
Do we only have enough points to grab Owens and Windhager , or will we be able to pick up the other NGA’s we listed? we will still be able to get these two players but most likely we will go into deficit unless they both really slide. as it stand the next pick is 21 1096. If Owens went here we woul...

Re: Bytel, Higgins and Hannebery IN
These guys are in our best 22. In they come. Bytel needs to keep banging on the door from Sandy. Hanners, at least a full Sandy game, Higgins a no brainer Hannebery gets that against Frankston this weekend. In he comes. Bytel is showing enough I think. We know what the others can do. And yep. Higgi...

Re: Sandringham vs Essendon Sunday 2.00pm
Thanks, where do you find that link on AFL site? Had no idea that info was available there! I got there via vfl.com.au If you go onto the AFL site select “matches” then “fixtures” it defaults to Toyota Premiership season but that can be changed to vfl premiership and then you can select the appropr...

Re: Michito Owens...saints go marching!
Owens really seems to be progressing very well. Windhager also played but seems he was quiet. But two good academy prospects who will likely fall in a good range, i.e. outside the top 20. Although Owens may be moving up draft boards! He needs to underperform going forward so that we can be sure he ...

Re: Sandringham v Port Melbourne
Dunstan.....slow, poor disposal. Always been that way. We need to recruit new young midfielders with elite speed and disposal. Does anyone have access to the VFL game stats and can post them, or knows where to find them on the web? It seems to be an area not done well for those of us interested in ...

Re: NicNat
Could do worse than get a tape of the Coll v Bri game, Coll won hit outs 63 to 4 (Grundy unstoppable) but only won clearances 35 to 30. Just need our ruckman to at least compete then sit on the Nic Nat hit outs.

Re: In the mix.
Agree with the players mentioned in the article though am surprised that Mason Wood didn’t get a mention. Ratten was on the record that he was only changed for McKenzie due to the conditions.

Re: Jeremy Cameron
If past rumours are correct Geelong don't pay huge money to anyone - how does Cameron's pay packet fit into that regime? One can only hope that it causes discontent in their ranks and they implode. I think the theory is that the money their not paying Tim Kelly, plus the retirement of Abl...

Re: Delistings Confirmed
When I looked at Bell's highlight reels thought he looked like something very very special -- just extremely skinny. He moves, kicks and handballs well, and taps the ball superbly. I thought he'd be our next tap ruckman of the future. Maybe we're going to rookie him back in. I hope so. I'm so sure ...

Re: Delistings Confirmed
May I ask. So these delistings have been made. ...but they can still delist more?....is that what you mean when you say Dunstan etc., will be nervous? When is the deadline for delistings? ....and what is the point of releasing delisting news piecemeal...if this in fact is what they are doing. Glad ...

If players were being selected based on match conditioning then Hannebery wouldn’t be playing.

Re: Scratch match against the lions
While it doesn’t say how many minutes he played I doubt anybody who played in a scratch match in the heat on Friday would be considered for a game on Saturday.SaintPelican66 wrote: ↑Fri 02 Oct 2020 6:18pm Roberton should come in to allow Clark to play in the midfield this week.

Hanners, Butler, Geary, ??? I’m thinking about the Bulldogs and their smashing last year in the Elimination Final and any advantage they may have as a result of seeking avenge their lost pride. (I’m sure that is not correct English, but I know what I mean) Howard, Hill, Jones and Ryder And Roberton
