Re: Match Thread Saints v Demons Round 14 2020
Billings needs a reality check. Drop him. Same with Hill. Five minutes ago he went at the ground ball footy with one hand out the side...if you can’t put your head over the footy when your team is down on the scoreboard you’re soft as butter He is soft but thats not what we picked him up for he has...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Demons Round 14 2020
The frees to Pettracca and Viney show the rubbish we cop. Hind tackled Viney perfectly spins him Viney tries to break it ball up. Jones gets pancaked no prior no chance to get it off holding the ball Pettracca first goal well if that’s a free we’ve missed 15 I agree the umpiring has been ordinary b...

Look a bit lethargic no real zip a bit like last week. I hope they turn it around soon or it will be same result as last week.

Re: Eagles looking ordinary back in the Qld hub
Finals in Queensland will be interesting Remember Finals would normally be starting now with the GF in Melbourne on the last Saturday of September - so 4 weeks time So climate in Queensland during the Finals? How testing will they be, especially for sides with ageing Lists? Geelong has a history of...

Re: Eagles looking ordinary back in the Qld hub
I think the were pretty good considering they lost Kennedy early then it became a bit of a shot out & Richmonds pressure was bloody good.It does concern me when you see how good these two teams are where we actually sit. I realise we are a developing team but to get to the next level is going to...

Just what we really need. Another f****** thread bagging a saints player. Just what we need. More glossing over stupid decisions in the name of misplaced loyalty. What absolute crap. I don't believe it was a stupid decision in the first place and I really f****** object to you saying my loyalty is ...

Re: Geary 200!
Our skipper is just two games from his 200th and unless he gets injured in the meantime he will play it against the Hawks. Coincidentally he played his 100th against them too and broke his arm in a 145-point loss! Hopefully a similar fate doesn't occur. Despite his knockers, he deserves acknowledge...

Re: Hannebery pick really hurting us ATM
Really? To be honest I don't think it is hurting us at all. We traded bugger all for him and it's not like we chose him over someone else to come to the club. NO-ONE WANTED TO COME! We were a rabble and we couldn't get any decent player across at the time. Everyone to there own opinion obviously I ...

So you pay an injury plagued guy over & above just because nobody wants to come !! That's probably why we haven't won a premiership in almost 60 years it's just dumb IMO

Goose mate I respect your opinion but that is purely speculation Jones wanted to come to the saints Dan might have been part of reason but he wanted to come it's not like he said I'm coming because Hennebery is my idol.

Re: Hannebery pick really hurting us ATM
Though the actual trade cost was very little. The Saints and Swans confirmed on Friday that they had agreed to terms on a trade that would see the star midfielder join St Kilda. The Swans have traded Hannebery and pick 28 to the Saints, and received pick 39 and St Kilda's 2019 second-round pick in ...

Hannebery pick really hurting us ATM
We could of really used a Hannebery in a tight game like that but that's the reality of picking up an injury prone over paid hack that will more than likely not play again this year. Please don't tell me his off field leadership is worth whatever we are paying him because 5 or 6 games in 2 years is ...

Definitely a quality mid & we have Austin & Clav who are supposed to be up & coming tall defenders (but to be honest don't know too much about them). Get Ben King & Josh Kelly & we are genuine Premiership material 2022 IMO anyway

Umpire Foote is not the reason we lost & as much as I think he's a tool we just needed to be more switched on from the start . Snoozers are losers & that's how it panned out

5. Steele ( if I could give 7 I would out & out our best by a long way IMO)
3.Coffield
3.Jones
2.Marshall
1. Wilke
1. Membrey (I don't understand why you would attempt to knock a definite goal back in to play but worked his arse off to try & make up for it so I gave him a vote)

Re: So will we play finals?
Were looking a bit tired & it's been a hectic season & IMO we might make it but were not up to matching it with the big boys yet. I hope we can get there just to play in the finals but in reality were not a real threat ATM give it a a couple of years & who knows.
