Definitely the most complete game Nas’s played..what I liked was his greater intensity at the contest.
He, Owens, Phillipou and Windhager are certainly exciting prospects!!

Not that it affected the result but I swear with Buddy’s second goal he had his whole boot over the goal line..no goal review at all.
Did anyone else happen to pick it up, it looked obvious when it was replayed the second time on the angle?

Two points to discuss here - subs and delisting. Yes it seems we have gotten the sub (player and timing) wrong more often than not. I still think it should be used to mitigate risk from injury and have the sub as a player in an role we are most at risk. There aren't many "super sub" stori...

I predicted we’d win 13 games in the pre season, that would get us into the bottom part of the 8.
That Sydney win can’t be underestimated, lose that & we probably wouldn’t make finals.
We do need to start getting consecutive wins though!

I learned a long time ago not to dwell on umpiring.
They make mistakes every week but rarely influence results!

Owens and Windhager MUST come in..both need to be played in the midfield.
A punt maybe needed with Membrey coming in, trouble is he never plays well against his old side!

Agree Windhager and Owens must get more time in the middle to improve our pedestrian midfield.
We also desperately need an upgrade to Howard, as he doesn’t cut it one on one!
Marshall needs help so we don’t burn him out.

Billing’s career has stagnated, therefore if I was his manager I’d be suggesting a fresh start for him.

Reality is we have holes in our list.
Our midfield is pedestrian, Rohan needs help, upgrade is needed on Howard..too many ordinary drafts have hurt and need more like the past 2 years, plus trading in some quality!

From memory it used to be 50 games that qualified for father/ son..reckon that’s about right.
That’s still 3-4 years service at a club!

To be honest, I thought our club did the responsible thing in exiting Paddy from the list.
On the flip side, Sydney picking up was irresponsible, as he was only 1 head knock away for career over..he’s now had 11 concussions!!

Max is now tipping the scales at 100 kegs and it shows. His challenge will be second game up this week when players that had a long layoff tend to struggle backing up. King, Caminiti and Membrey is a nice balance! It also allows Mitchie to go into the midfield, an exciting prospect..just need Windy ...
