As I see it, the key part of the puzzle is who Judd nominates because they will have a major advantage and then how decisive he is. I don't think we have much of a chance but to be any cance we need to drive really hard for him? Convince him that he want's to come to St Kilda and only St Kilda. I re...

Well to be any realistic chance we are going to need Judd to come out and says he wants to play for us. Of the other four you'd think he'd want to play for us ahead of at least Carlton and Essendon as they don't seem to be heaing anywhere to soon. Collingwood look promising and Melbourne will appeal...

Well, If he decided Carlton he could even nominate for the National Draft and be the No. 1 pick. Are you allowed to use such early picks on uncontracted players? The fact that Carlon got the priority pick becomes so more important now.

I guess we could for something like Pick 9 for Hasleby + Peake. Maybe offer to upgrade one of their picks so Pick 9 + Pick 43 for Hasleby + Peake + Pick 55 or so.

Will he come out tomorrow and nominate a preffered club? Who will his preferred club be? Carlton are probably the frontrunners but you'd think he'd want to go a team like Hawthorn or Collingwood. And what about when he plays against WC next year? Their premiership captain who they've all been saying...

Did anyone notice how RB talked of recent on-field success yet this didn't save GT.

The whole problem with this saga is that it doesn't seem as if this whole cloud over the club will go away until RB is gone regardless of whether or not he should stay.

If you swapped Welsh for a pacy midfielder trhen it would be worth giving some good consideration. There are a fair few ruckmen ahead of Hille who I'd target but his numbers are actually a bit better than I thought. Had a bit of a down year compared to previous years where head had good numbers desp...

Probably Roo but Joey and Dal are big chances. Because you get votes out of 10 for every game it means when you miss it really hurts your chances. Roo has been our most consistent but has missed two games and Joey one. Dal is the only one with a chance who has played all 22 so he would'nt need to sc...

I'd first give him a crack and play him a few games in the centre and see if he can stand the heat. Maybe he could have an impact similiar to Joel Selwood. Has the body size but is yet to prove his temperament. If he can't stand the heat put him to HB and see if he can fin a bit more of the ball whi...

Kosi may not have been that gamebreaker this year but he needed to have this year to set himself up for somthing big next year. During that patch on 05 I don't think anyone could say he wasn't a gamebreaker and hopefully using this year as a stepping stone he can play those sort of games consistentl...

Definately not up to the standard it needs to be. Signifcantly contributed to loses against Collingwood and West Coast and the draw against WB we need to follow the Kangas and start pre-season early and get a solid pre-season in.

I think he's a pretty good ruckmen and I'd be happy to throw a bit at him but porbably not our 1st pick. Maybe pick 27 + pick 43 for Charman + their 4th pick (around 56). I wouldn't discount trading our 1st pick but then it would have to be for someone who would definately solve our problems. Not th...

I like Goddard in the forward half but not at CHF. He'd be much better on HF flank where he would get the 3rd or 4th tall and would be able to outmark his opponent. His delivery and precise kicking could be a real asset around 50 in kicking goals and setting up other players. Plus, I rather have my ...

One player on the top of my wishlist is Drew Petrie and I'd be willing to give a lot up for him like our 1st and 3rd round pick. Not really sure if this is around the right mark. He had a real beakout season this year and gives off the impression he is going to explode. Not quite sure on him as a ru...

I'd be willing to offer him 250-300k per year preferably closer to 250k. I'd offer our secound round pick which they probably wouldn't accept but he doesn't seem to be on good terms with Freo. Maybe our third pick and a player. I'd definately enquire about him but wouldn't put all that much time int...

Really good and detailed post. I think you're pretty spot on with what we need. Definately need a topline ruckmen unless Gardiner magically comes good. With Gehrig going we need Kosi forward so he can kick 50+ goals and with no ruckmen he'll have to play their and our forward line will struggle. We ...

I think he might struggle. Hea good tackler and got good heart but he's not really a natural footballer. It was great that Thomo got a farewell game but the initial decison was the correct one. He clearly wasn't fully fit and had there been a finals spot on the line we couldn't afford to have him out there if he's only going to play 30 or 40%.
