I'm just glad to see GT get some justice after the absolutely appalling propaganda regimen (which started on day one) started initially by the AFL mafia and then Buttarse thought he could hop on board and there would be no consequences remember article after article "Thomas signed a stat dec sa...

Nothing wrong with our list that isn't wrong with 15 others every other year. Every list could do with "some work". Work was done we ended up with Schneider, Gardiner, Dempster etc and some "kids". Injuries have again been a factor, but the plain fact is we should be doing better...

Yes it was. V good comeback against a quality opposition. We actually seemed to have a bit of flair and gradually began moving the ball better after the dismal first qtr. Long way to go, but pleasing!

Anyone else hear the Aussie Jones interview on radio before the Freo game, came across very well ,words used about saints mentioned were disinterest ,no passion and negative mindset no players have improved in last 18 months .Maybe someone has a record of whole interview as i am only going on memory...

Re: Perspective Please...

I just see the differences between when GT took over, as to when Lyon took over as so fundamenatlly different, that it angers me that our own supporters look to compare the two situations. GT took 2.5 years to get something going. True. He had a team of children playing KPs, at a club which had jus...

LOL....Your comparing St Kilda's finacial history to that of the above teams....Laughable. Clearly displaying your nativity and blindness to substantial football issues. A whole pile of goobeledegook And even more to the point of your last post - You voted for Westaway because he was an alternative...

Never part of the group that were struggling in financial's??? The only thing that Melb, NM and WB all have in common is that they recieve money from the AFL to stay afloat. If you were really serious you would've mentioned Rich, Carlscum,Geelong and Hawthorn who have all "struggling in financ...

Ok, fair enough, do you, given the current situation, support Lyon??? My point is that we sacked reasonably successful coaches who needed more time. Haven't seen any evidence that RL is on the same page. However given he's 'Wallsys' boy and hell hath no fury like an AFL mafia scorned would be futil...

Yep to the OP. That's why it took me 2 seconds to vote for Westaway and send off my proxy form. But it's really typical St.kilda when you have a coach like Alves or GT-it's like given our history it might actually take longer than 5 years and a few bumps in the road. For there sake at least Geelong ...

Wish these "journos" would at least acknowledge their allegiances (in this case Walls) before trying to herd a bunch of tired cliches into some kind of argument. Niall is part of the AFL mafia and has run a number of hatchet jobs on GT during his tenure. This is yet another one. FWI...

Geelong didn't sack Mark Thompson after 5 years or even 7 after many ups and downs and look what happened in his 8th. At St.Kilda whether it be Alves or GT-politics always wins and it is the club and supporters that continously pay a heavy toll.

Its all garbage, in GT's day, the list coached itself and won games despite a coach that had no idea, only on occasions was GT's interfere so great, it caused the odd loss... Now FFS, we have the best coach going round, but the famous list is now no good, supposedly because GT's interference was to...

Fraser Gehrig had also decided to come out of a short retirement. That would be a positive as the big fella had come eighth in the best-and-fairest in 2007 and had led his club's goalkicking with 59 majors Now what kind of spin would this a**hole have "written" if "you know who"...

Its utterly pitiful how the "Faction" on SS - now that they no longer dare to suggest that, as a coach, lyon is fit even to tie GT's shoelace, are trying to shift the blame for our current problems to an alleged failure to recruit adequately between 2004 to 2006 with our fabulous range of...

There just not playing like a team. No confidence. A bunch of individuals who you would've thought after today, had never had anything to do with each other. And to lose to Brisbane like that-not Geelong-just shameful.
