Pokies & Death Sticks Are Too Negatory
I applaud North for going 'pokie free' I agree J.M. I am also opposed to the production of nicotine/ chemical death sticks that are ok- ed for the retail shelves. Amazing that they are still sucked up by so many in Vic. We seem a bit in denial here but looking forward to them being outlawed at cafe...

T. Wallace on Sinclair
Heard Terry this arvo getting annoyed on SEN regarding Sinclair having to exit the team because he is a rookie who has to go back down when the guy he replaced comes back. Terry W. like many have been impressed with Sinclair and hate the idea of him losing his spot without an injury being the reason...

Wishing Nick all the best
Heartening to see Nick striding through the airport. Nick is an all-time favorite Sainter of mine (and dads') so I was really pleased to see him simply walking around. I hope and trust that Nick is getting all the due diligence he can receive. As much as I like to see him in the team for his sake it...

Newly arrived Paddy is by all accounts doing all the right things. Still V. happy to have Paddy on board and recognise he has a right to some breathing space and development time before expectations get too overplayed. I suppose with Lonie, Sinclair & McKenzie producing some startling games in t...

Great to see Daniel have such an encouraging 2nd. game and to make crucial plays in St.Kilda's favour. I heard AR talk about him post game and he shared his enthusiasm of how important it was for Dan to take that critical mark in the context of the game. You could tell the coach was impressed. AR st...

Just Green Grass Blue Sky Human Cheer
Seconded Everton experiencing the footy as "an opportunity for marketers to monetise a captive audience with repeated and inane corporate messages". is galling. I have to add the silent advertising of the rotating ads on the fence at the bigger stadiums eg. Adelaide Oval are darn annoying ...

PLAYED LIKE MEN POSSESSED
I was dreading the essendon encounter esp. after the pies & blues defeats. As I watched the game on tv I became increasingly amazed at the tenacious and sustained display of Saints handball, backing up the player with the ball and often kicking and marking well. I just didn't see that level of i...

Glad AR is apparently V.keen in particular coming up against Coll'wood. Stressing the importance of putting on a good show on Friday night (like the Saints regularly did not too long ago). Beating the pies would be a great confidence injection into this 2015 'development' year. Here is an opportunit...

Before the Saturday Nite /Delight Nite I was speculating on the terrific boost the 2 young Jacks could give the developing St. Kilda team - that is jacks Lonie & Sinclair. Part of my take was based on the fact that the 2 boys were later picks and arrived @ our club with perhaps less expectation ...

GOOD JOB JOSH BRUCE ! !
Only had the radio commentery of SEN to follow the game but enjoyed the building excitement as Bruchey kept clunking marks and bagging the 6 available points when he kicked for goal. At one point one of the commentators blurted out "J E S U S - he's got it again" somewhat shocked. Even lis...

Wish I had seen the game but great to hear all the genuine appreciation of Billy Longer's efforts. Thankyou Saint Stu for posting up Montagna's impressions of the young guys so far. We are just one game into the 2015 season but it feels like exciting things are happening. Josh Bruce can be great for Paddy
Bruchey produced a team lifting mark and announced his arrival in great style as a Forward for St. kilda. If Rooey hadn't had to endure the sloppy crash of Bugg into his back well who knows - momentum may have got the guys over the line. I couldn't help thinking of BJ in the G.F. wresting momentum S...

I Prefer the DOME roof open on sunny days
Personally I like to see the sky and clouds and green grass. Never that keen on the roof. I know others like it but even with the 'sun factor' and bad design orientation I still prefer the natural elements to the inside view of an aircraft hanger.

SCREWED OVER BY THE AFL
DAVE for Geelong to average only 26,000 but almost make $1 million ( ie $850K/ game). While @ The DOME St Kilda can draw 30,000 but only break-even is deplorable. To put salt in the wound - if it is a 26,000 crowd we pay ~$73K. Isn't that great? Now what organisation has the means and ability to end...

So along with Steven the 2 talls would be nice parts of the puzzle to have locked in.

Saints vs 'The System'
Commiserations Sainters didn't see the game but hoping there would have been more positive impressions. I guess the players out there got a real up close view of what a dual premiership team looks like. It probably looks a bit daunting for some but this is no doubt part of a rebuild from the bottom ...

Daniel McKenzie
I was certainly excited when I learned that St.Kilda had called Daniel @ #22 in last November's Nat. Draft. For me Daniel has only been on board for 5 minutes and if he is still readjusting or whatever then that's understandable. I think Daniel will be well supported at our club to take things one d...
