I agree, we would be making up the numbers, unlike 2004 and 2005 where we were genuine contenders.Otiman wrote:To be up there this year. With our current state of injuries and overall fitness level, we have little chance of making an impact come finals time.

Valiant performance
Well done to the boys. Was a great game to watch, unfortunately we just weren't good enough. West Coast were a better team, and to get as close as we did was amazing.

Re: Matthew LLoyd - Was that goal dropping the ball?
Wasn't there a dropping the ball decision paid to Hamill against Fremantle several years ago? It would've been 'Holding the Ball'. When the umpire makes that signal with both arms starting inwards and then sweeping outwards, the signal if for Holding the Ball. Hamil may have actually dropped the ba...

Re: Matthew LLoyd - Was that goal dropping the ball?
"Free kick to Carlton dropping the ball" in reality!!! As an ex-umpire I can assure all of you that there is no such rule for 'Dropping the Ball'. There is 'Holding the Ball' or 'Throwing the Ball' but not 'Dropping the Ball'. Wasn't there a dropping the ball decision paid to Hamill again...

Re: How out of touch can the AFL be...
I can understand this being an issue in Under 8 Aus kick games but this is adults playing men v men. Bigger is not always better and that is something that has always been the great leveller in football. Anderson has obviously never played the game and is that out touch it is scary... Another one w...

Let me play it to yous straight ----- A supporter forum WILL NOT be part of an AFL investigation into the incident.....so someone build up the courage and just post the bloody thing. This is St Kilda we're talking about. Any other of the 15 clubs and their supporter forums would be fine... but I'm ...
